Keeping things close to home on this one. In this episode Christof and I climb and ski Mount Timpanogos the towering snow covered peak right behind my house. I spend most of my time running, scrambling and skiing on the slopes of this mountain. On this day we climb the south face to the summit then ski down and climb Roberts Horn then ski off its West Face all the way to where the snow ends and the pavement begins. Since a few have asked about my music I'll try to post the songs in the video description whenever I can remember to do so. I never get tired of waking up and seeing Timp out my window. That mountain really dominates the entire valley, and for being only 11, 750 it just feels so much larger than it is. Definitely punches above its weight. And the views from the ridge are incredible. The city and lake on the west and Heber valley and Uintas to the east. Never not a good day spent on Timp. Even just chilling around Sundance and the falls is always amazing. Love Dry Canyon. So much to see up there.

Curious if youve noticed better air quality along Wasatch Front given less driving with the current limitations. Lived in SLC for many years and the winter gunk (inversions) were always depressing. Good time to get into mountains. Great videos. Amazing views at 6: 08! Mt. Nebo in distant background if Im correct.

Awesome work! I'm pretty sure I saw you guys unloading the other day, and I thought, they must have been on an epic adventure. I'm also two blocks away from the Trailhead. Love it, and congrats on the sweet adventure. Zero wind is super rare!

Interesting, I've been up Dry Canyon to the Big Baldy trail junction, tried to look for Everest Ridge but could not tell the best route up from that point since it was off trail from there on out.

Im so happy to have another video! Thank you, I know adventuring right now is kind of fraught with complications. What an amazing mountain to have in your backyard. Beautiful footage as always.

Did this hike this summer. Only made it to the waterfall. It was hot out and I was smoked since I had spent the last couple of weeks in glacier and the Tetons. Beautiful hike though

-Mediocre- Professional Amateur, can I park at your house to climb it? I'll pay you. Was doing research, found parking is not allowed at camp or on side of road

People are going to look back and wonder why the media fear mongered everyone so much. Why would someone think they can't hike a mountain during a pandemic.

Dont let the quarantine shammers bring you down! Love your vids. better than the pros - who are so emotional and serious about everything they do these days.

You guys are awesome! Love your videos! Can you do a video talking about what you do to train and work out for these adventures while you're in lockdown?

Hiked up there in the summer, 45 years ago, and that west side looked like a giant talus slope of sharp rocks. You are one brave guy hiking up in snow.

Timp has some incredible day hike opportunities for regular people. This flatlander will never forget my day on the Timpooneke trail. Great video, guys!

Wow! I have hiked to the top in the summer but you both made it look so fun to ski down. Pretty amazing quarantine day compared to most of us.

Love your content. If making these videos is required, please make a point of keeping 6 feet apart, and wear buffs over your face. Thanks.
