Bravo and thank you Swimup! Didnt know how to swim and felt terrified of H20. Paid $240 at my local YMCA this month for 8 private lessons. Felt angry at instructor for not showing me any techniques and for not being more patience with me. Remembering knowledge is power & that Im more than a conqueror, I looked for videos to offer me tutoring, and found this excellent one first. Loved the techniques, helping a lot. I practice by myself between lessons and have improved markedly. Have five lessons to go.

Every time when a tiny bit of panic hits me, my body would react in survival mode, compounding the panic. I use pool daily, always with a goal to reduce panic and increase relaxation. I want to build that sensation in my dna so that I would swim better and more at ease.

Amazing video!
I have just recently learnt to put my face in the water after years of fear. I am eager to swim as my hobby/workout.
I wish my PE teachers had taught me this when i was young,
25 years and I have found this wondeful video.
Thank you!

Lol, I learned how to swim in about a month when I was 13 so I could make the swim team my crush was on, and I could swim better than some other people who have swam for years, then we moved to Florida, and I got hammered

how do you know when your lung has air - is it when you inhale or exhale? How do you keep airs in your lung b/c I normally run out of breath after 10 seconds of holding it. This may be due to panicing.

I love swimming but at the same time I was scared of water, but it is three days that I am going to swimming pool and now I am able to swim but still sometimes I am panicking at the middle of pool

Many other popular videos learn to swim in 3 min! Like that are not at all helpful. learning slowly and steadily everything step by step, like you're teaching, is the right way

I hate for water to get in my nose my ears and my eyes. It's the most horrific feeling for me. Could I still manage to learn to swim?
