Heavy Weight VS Light Weight for Muscle Growth Desi: Yes I agree, for beginners will always start at light weights to get the body conditioned. As you go increase weights for muscle growth and strength with the same high reps i believe no more than 20 reps.
Thats the norm for beginners. Now in advanced bodybuilding you go heavy maintaining the same reps as a beginner workout. As you progress in heavy weights you progress in strength and growth meaning you'll able to workout in high reps as an advanced bodybuilder.
Great video brother.

In the early stages of bodybuilding it's primarily neurological adaptation training you're getting stronger but not bigger. biased people think they have to train using lower reps. not true unless you want to become a weightlifter. powerlifters don't train like a bodybuilder. so a bodybuilder does not need to train like a powerlifter!

Strength is a byproduct of bodybuilding. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbu started out in powerlifting that's how they met. they integrated powerlifting within bodybuilding. everyone seems to emulate that. myself I don't. or rotator cuff surgery could be in your future!

Fitness nuts always regurgitate misinformation. bodybuilding is not strength training. bodybuilding is about symmetry always bringing up your lagging body parts via the split principal. using bodybuilding routines. not by winging it. cherry picking there exercises!

I like doing light/moderate weights because as long as there's resistance, I can feel the muscles more and not just that, feel where the tearing is being done and not being done in them because I can control the path of the bar.

It hurts my joints when I lift heavy load even taking up to 3 to 4 reps. now I goes back to lifting moderate load up to 12 to 16 reps, my muscles still grow. since then I do not experience joints injury anymore. tq bro.

Doing strength training is about straight sets or pyramid sets. that's what most people do most of the time. bodybuilding is about doing combinations most of the time! That's how you increase your volume!

Good video but you may want to turn down the DB on the wireless mic. The audio clips alot throughout the video. Hope this helps makes the audio better. Thanks for the good info.

I have fast twitch muscles not long distance muscles so low reps are better look at a sprinter and long distance runner see who is more muscular

Bodybuilding comes in stages beginner intermediate advanced. beginners don't need to know all the Advanced Training methods. it serve no purpose!
