Now I will say that this as always has been a great video. However, this is the only time I will take an issue over one item. The lonely dot. This Item tends to get a bad rap over the fact that it does not have a good speaker. This can be over come by the addition of a docking speaker. Yes, if you are going to buy a docking system and a dot it would be cheaper than a full fledged echo. But, in some cases the combo is cheaper than the full fledged echo. Giving you full sound and portability. Since the dot is 30 dollars and docking systems are 40 dollars, this makes the combo 10 cheaper than a full echo (even when it is on sale) Worth looking into in my opinion.

I recently started making a smart home and here's what I got so far: -Google Assistant (controls my lights, TV, plays music) -TP Link Smart light switch HS220 (allows Google Assistant to control lights, you can also control through their app) things I want to get: -Nest thermostat Edit: just got a Nest thermostat and love it so far!

All of the devices mentioned are listed in the description... For smaller sized rooms, the Echo Dot and Google Home Mini also work very well. Display devices are great additions for your kitchen or any other place where a display would be useful... Thanks for watching :)
