A tip I will add to those new to photoshop. When changing colors and lighting, always keep your original image on hand, and once you have made all of your edits, lay them above your original image, and then just play with reducing their transparency to see what really looks good. Your brain is excited about the changes you are making, and often goes overboard. Like someone grabbing more food than they can eat at a buffet. When I was new to photoshop, I was often, at the end of my editing, reducing my changes by 50%. Now that I have a better eye for it, 20 years later, I tend to reduce it by 5-20% because I still get carried away to some extent.

Can you please make a video on retouching jewelry
I’m looking for a full video covering:
White background retouching
Creative shoots (rings, earrings, sets)
Working with gold and white gold jewelry
Brush settings
Covering everything in detail subject by subject
I’m waiting for it eagerly. Thanks again!

Hi Umesh, I'm a concert photographer and a huge fan of yours. Could you please create a video on how to produce a star light effect in Photoshop and a prism light effect in PS Other tutorials aren't very accurate. I would greatly appreciate it if you could release a video on this topic.

Every time you post something manual, it reminds me why I started following you and stayed up late at night, skipped school, and all that shenanigans just to keep learning Photoshop. I make myself feel alive and want to create more! Thanks, dude.

Hi, thanks for all your videos, is it possible to make one about the best PC (or even Mac) for the new Photoshop 2025. My PC can't keep up with the current version, says my PC graphics card is incompatible. Thanks so much.
