Hello Unmesh,
great tutorial. I have one small problem though (and this issue/bug is known to me for quite some time.
When you extend the shadow (min 12, it works just fine, but it leaves ugly artifact on the right side of the transform selection - just at the edge where original and extendeded shadow parts meet.
It's a small region, just a few pixels wide, but still visible.
I'm pretty sure this is an interpolation issue and I have been struggling with this issue many times - actually every time I need to extend/deform just a portion of any continuous layer.
I also have some workarounds - eg content-aware fill, change to different interpolation mode under transform dialog (like Nearest neighbor) or so.
But it is still unpleasant and time consuming.
I was wondering if you are aware of this issue and perhaps have some better/smarter solution?
Thank you!

Hi Unmesh,
My name is Gautam and I have been a fan of your work and have been learning a lot for a year now. I wanted to ask whether you can feather the edges of the product in the mask except blurring it using the blur tool. My thought is that it does the same thing of softening the edges so why not use feather in the mask properties. I would feel happy if you would clear my doubt in the next video.
Anyways, keep up the good work. Thank You!

As someone starting off in product photography and retouching. i would desperately appreciate more videos on product photography editing or retouching. There are some very cool retouching tips/tricks out there that i'm sure a lot of people would enjoy. :) Im still struggling on how to use metallic looking gradients for metal and light reflections lol Your videos are always amazing and you have near single-handedly taught me Photoshop

I get a lot of pictures made in a lightbox (so white light bleeding on the object) and they need to be on a dark background in various colors. I never get that perfect. I always see that it is had a white backgound. I can do a lot but they are very time consuming and when it is about objects of a few euro it costs to much to do so. any hints on a faster workflow?

A small tip about correcting distortions. If you took the photo yourself or you know which camera and lens model was used when taking photo, its better to use automatic lens corrections. Not only it will perfectly eliminate distortions, it will also correct for vignetting and chromatic aberrations with just 3 clicks.

Sir, in photoshop cc 2018 there is no Geometry tool in the camera raw filter. Is it important to straighten things in this image?
or in the upcoming videos it you should show us a alternative way to do stuffs which is not available in the lower version of photoshop

Wow This is such an incredible tutorial. This will and has been hugely helpful in my workflow for e-commerce photography. However, what would be a good way to expedite this process through different actions, such as if I had a batch of products to edit from a clients?

I have one question. Its hard to see here on YT, but it looks like the shadows has a some kind of pasterize artefacts after the transformation. What to do with this issue?

I am not even a photographer or graphic designer and will probably never use any techniques that you show, but I still watch your tutorials because they are so relaxing and you have such a positive vibe.
