Turn 2D Photos to 3D Planets in Photoshop!

we will turn flat pictures into 3D spheres. Starting with preparing the image, we will clean the sky and match the seam of both the ends of the image. Then, we will apply the Polar Coordinates filter to create the sphere. After that, we will add special effects and change the background to make it look like a planet

For people wanting to change the last shape to complete sphere with much little mountains. Do following:
Using elliptical selection, select the planet ignoring mountains pressing shift while drawing
Then select inverse to invert selection
Now just use smudge tool and press mountains towards the edge of selection to make the mountains and rough places smaller in height. This will give it a good shape as viewed from a great distance. as normal planets do look

Why is the image sample have this Big tag on it everytime tho? Is there a way to get rid of it or I just don't understand. cause it's meant to be free to use no?

at 3: 16 you paint with white, but the selection in the sky is still active, so nothing happens. Is this correct Unmesh?
