we will use one Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer at the Top to take away all the colors and multiple ones in between the image and the top layer to control the luminosity of each color which we will specify manually. Also, we will create some amazing effects like vignettes and film grain to spice up our image

Many thanks for getting into this episode so quickly. I had just finished your 4 amazing ways to B&W. Your tip at the end, which is what this episode is all about, left me wanting to learn more! Great job on this video. You really have a gift and are a great teacher, you cut to the chase and have great pace in your videos. Your passion for this skill set is really apparent and you carry it out in great detail. Just can't say enough good things about your teaching. Your life is going to be a blessed one, I can see that already.
Thanks for all you do, but most of all, KEEP IT COMING!

Sir, Earlier you have told converting B/W via calculations, I mean that was also great just wanted to know which method makes B/W conversion more professional. Also, sir if I add grain via Camera Raw filter, will that have a similar effect?

HI, If I have to copy the same font as there in any pic then how would I know the font name? I know there is called match font but sometimes it doesn't work too. It gives the relative font sometimes

Amazing work as usual!
You know you should also check out Jean-Michel Berts, he's a black & white photographer and his work is amazing, truly beautiful!

i don't know, your technics are very cool but in the end the normal black and white simply looks better and natural. Same for your normal map technic.

This is why you should always have a variety of models with darker skin tones. The black and white versions are far more challenging

I tried this class and I don't seem to be able to do it. I don't know what is wrong to make matters worst.

One question? Why did you choose the Lightness slider instead of the Hue slider when you selected the dress?
reply

Omg. THANK YOU! Greatest b&w tutorial ever! I cannot wait to go back and reprocess some of my images.
