Problem I have is that when I hold the shift key I always get the hand tool. Have tried countless ways and the hand always pops up. Recently made sprockets to duplicate 35mm film and had to do one at a time. Also to collapse layers the shift key does not work. Got a solution? And I agree with everyone. love your tutorials.

You are the man! You almost have 1M follower, you deserve it. I am starting now with this but actually, I was using photoshop since the first released version. I am watching your videos from the beginning and I can't say which one is best. I hope the best luck and fortune to you and thank you for doing this. Keep on!

I have photoshop cc 2019 and following all of your directions, a straight line will not appear after clicking once holding shift move to another point in the photo click. It does not join. All I have is the original dot and the final dot. No line in-between. Help!

I came here trying to learn how to get rid of that dot connect thing. Its so annoying for digital illustration. Especially when you just want to click and drag while holding shift to make house windows but u have 2 control z every line. Sigh

It seems that Adobe has taken this capability away, and are in their forums denying it when asked (in Photoshop 23.

I drew straight line over an existing one and it got uneven with saw-like style. How do I really straighten it.

Exactly what I needed, but using it in GIMP, not Photoshop. Thank you for this very practical video.
