I can make an argument for the 3050- If someone is not a serious gamer, but is a heavy media consumer, the 3050 can do what the other cards cannot- It can use it's tensor cores to upscale video to 4k. Even streaming video like Netflix, so you can save the money on a premium subscription. According to Linus Tech Tips, it is really hard to tell it apart from Netflix's own native 4k stream. It also does wonders for older video. That is a high value feature, and depending on your use case, it can make this the best value card. And I am not even an Nvidia fanboy. I wish AMD had that.

Weak sauce. The 3050 is absolute garbage tier for the price and you should have thoroughly thrashed Nvidia for that. RT is not relevant for cards at this price/performance. Any argument otherwise is asinine and RT should not have been a factor in testing cards of this performance class. This review sounds like every other generic comparison review that could have been written by an AI. Come on guys, get spicy, have some actual hard core opinions based on your testing and expertise. Make me care about watching your review. Yawn.....

Whoa! It's awesome to see the A770 doing so well! I'm surprised at the 8GB vs 16GB performance though. I would like to see a more detailed showdown of the A770 8GB vs A770 16GB in games where you go through various games settings to try to get as much out of the the RAM usage as possible to see how the performance stacks up. Many games nowadays it's very easy to hit the 8GB ceiling and I wonder if the 16GB would actually help enough with getting a little more graphic features with still good performance. Thanks for this video!

I wouldn't buy any of those anymore unless I'd be ABSOLUTELY be forced to save money on the graphics card but we already see games simply not working with 8GB VRAM anymore. The lowest I'd go would be 12GB at the moment, ideally 16. If you buy a new graphics card now you shouldn't have to worry about it being able to play some games without having to turn textures down to mud like in RE4.

Great video overall, but I do not understand the testing methodology. These cards will be mostly used in 1080p. And I'm pretty sure nobody will enable rtx on these cards, since playing on less than 60 fps is... rough. Most people I know (and generally going by what i see on the internet) use 120+ Hz monitors, and consider 80+ fps on games the minimum they'd be willing to go for.

Wouldn't mind seeing more best GPU for X videos. I know the market fluctuates but the past three months prices haven't changed much at all. Occasionally we'll see high end last gen GPU's pop up on sale but the quantity is so low and they still sell out pretty quick which to me shows that there's still quite a few people interested in a newer GPU when the price is right.

Impressed to see how far Intel's drivers have developed improving performance for the A770, and not surprised to see Nvidia's sad excuse of a GPU, the RTX 3050 at that price point exists for consumers to buy, not an AMD fanboy but went team Red (AMD) some time ago as only game, looking at price for gaming performance.

So in other words the RTX 3050 is an overpriced RX 6600 competitor if anything, not an RX 6650 XT competitor, and the A770 boasts shockingly decent averages but at the cost of being the least efficient card out of the bunch and having the worst driver interface and potentially a little bug here and there.

2:38 Sorry, but if all three cards show the same 1% low figure but wildly different averages then that's not very indicative of the smoothness in general, only that there is one point in the capture where FPS drops to 30 regardless of GPU. A frametime graph for this would tell you a lot more.

If I didn't already have a 6700XT I'd probably jump for the A770 now. Especially for some games that use XeSS. Meanwhile this continues to show what a bad card the 3050 is. I expect the 4050 and 4060 are going to be overpriced and underwhelming whenever they show up too.

Intel is in the 3070 / 6700xt weight class. Not the 3060.
Some early bad drivers made it look like it. But now it trades blows with a 3070ti or a 6800 non xt.
All that for half the price. Truly the only logical buy for non halo buyers nowadays

Wait is ARC the best budget GPU right now??? And what about some old games like Age of Empires, LEFT 4 DEAD, STARCRAFT, WARCRAFT, old FALLOUT games, etc...should I wait for two or three driver updates before buying an ARC GPU???

Arc is showing very good RT scaling. Intel actually has been researching real-time RT since at least the Core 2 era and have gained extensive experience, they just need to materialize it in a more powerful GPU architecture.

I honestly hope Intel releases more GPU cards that can compete in the near future. We need more competition to help reduce pricing since both AMD and Nvidia ( mostly Nvidia) keep increasing the prices of their cards
