Alaina unboxes her pre-built PC from NZXT's BLD service and gives us her impressions of the experience so far. Shot on a Canon C100 Mark 2 kevin: Kind of crazy but I just put a build together on NZXT site for 3, 000 dollars for an archviz build. I then took every part and shopped them out through computer parts suppliers. The difference between me building the same system and their price? 170 dollars with the 99 dollar shipping fee. Sorry, my time is worth a good bit and that is almost a steal. They install, set it up with Windows 10 Professional installed and the required drivers. Plus, I am assured it works going out the door. My last build I had issues with memory and overclocking so I had to order other memory, wait and hope it worked (it did) With a build like this, it is on them if the part does not work. My only complaint is I was not super impressed with the MB selection for the Ryzen 3950 I wanted.
I also put similar builds together on cyberpower, Ibuypower and one other one I cannot remember. I liked the MB options better but I did not like the 3-4 week wait in shipping and the end number was not quite as good. I have two CyberPower builds and they have done quite well for me. Some of the reviews I read though on them following up with warranties is not comforting. People have been without computers for months already. I cannot afford that.
I am still trying to decide on pulling the trigger on this Ryzen build but my other concern is the heat. I spec'd a Kraken 280 cooler or whatever but I am still concerned. I am hearing these Ryzen 3950's run very hot and when I am doing both high poly modelling and rendering along with real time gpu rendering, I need things to stay cool enough so everything runs optimally and there is no thermal throttling.

My first computer was a pre-build and got blue screen a couple of months later. Brought it back but blue screen continued. I investigated myself and came to the conclusion it was the CPU; took back PC, suggested it was the CPU but they changed the motherboard instead. And. I got blue screen again! Completely fed up I changed CPU myself on my own dime, despite the shops insistence it wasn't the CPU, and it worked fine afterwards.
Did get a new motherboard out of the deal but the one they replaced was new anyway so it ended up being a total waste of time and they didn't even fix it in the end. Learned my lesson the hard way - build your own because the so called experts can be real amateurs.

PCWorld: Gurl, you're gonna regret choosing that RTX Pascal refresh Ventus 2070 Super because it has too small of a cooling body, while fans are semi-ok due to them never stopping, but the backplate is PLASTIC and it literally is choking the backside of the VRM-s that need to be cooled via a thermalpad transfer to the aluminium backplate. I've tested it for a client and I was disapointed by it because it gets too hot on the VRM-s side and will probably develop some heat induced coil whine very soon. If you have the chance to change it to INNO3D GeForce RTX 2070 Super iChill X3 Ultra or a KFA2 RTX2070 Super Ex 8GB version or even the MSI Gaming X version.

I got my $3, 800 USD custom pc from NZXT this week. It took 42 days from order to delivery and it doesn-t even turn on. In two days of email -customer support- I have received one question of -What happens when you push the Power button on the motherboard? - I suggest reading reviews about this company on TrustPilot. Gamers are family, so I-m trying to help save you from what I-m still going through.

Nice, they even do driver installation. Wonder if theres one company out there that at a reasonable price would assemble the PC parts you ordered from them, install dual boot Zorin OS main (Linux) and Windows 10 secondary and send it shipped to you with all the drivers installed, gaming and privacy optimizations possible. I would pay quite a significant amount extra if they did complete service like that.

Every other comment: -just build your own and it-s better-. Yeah no shit, but not everyone wants to build their own and deal with the time and troubleshooting. Especially to save about $200. Most people are willing to pay for convenience and peace of mind, and they aren-t cheap AF

Can someone help? I just received my NZXT streaming PC. I have a problem I can-t figure out. The wifi connection is horrendous. I-ve tried just about everything. I have 100% connection with my laptop, phone, and PS4. It has windows 10 and all updates are current. Any idea? Thanks.

building your own computer is a passion and having pride to assembling your own pc. dont say you dont have time to put the computer together if you are going to play games for endless hours. just admit you are lazy.

Nice looking build. Not sure why she went with the 470 mobo instead of the 570. Might have been nice to show the front panel. Does it have USB-C on the front? $1, 600 sounds like a decent price for a 3700X gaming rig.

My father just recently got his new prebuilt system from Cyberpower PC and damn I was very impressed with the clean cable management in the inwin 101 black TG case. his system is built for 4k 60+fps gaming. :)
