Please test the 7950X3D without the chipset optimizer and using only Task Manager processor affinity or Process Lasso to pin the games to the CCD better suited for the task and report if that is a better way of getting performance out of the thing without sacrifices.

Here's a software developers take: The games that are getting the most advantage out of the extra cache were not optimized to avoid cache hits in the first place.

Battlefield 2042 needs to be benchmarked. I'm sure the FrostByte Engine would produce interesting results. Just non-X3D vs X3D, Intel results not needed.

It costs 40% more then the 3900k. All the game benchmarks I see it might edge the 3900k at 1080 by 10%. Sounds like an awful purchase
