The track pad is an issue, in terms of where a person's palm would rest while typing. A person's palm, because of the track pad's placement, has a tendency of moving the cursor or clicking unintentionally. perhaps centering the track pad with the space bar would help and including palm rejection technology to prevent the unintentional triggering of the track pad.

Using MSI GS73VR as main computer for development and more since 2 years - with the 4K screen which is of course rather small but SO GOOD to have same resolution on internal screen and larger screens in office/home environment. Wish for a GS75 with 4K screen - though my 73 is still going strong: -): -) except for the battery: -O

17 inch thin and light: CHECK
Upgradeable (not like the previous gs65): CHECK
Professional looks: CHECK
Decent cooling: CHECK
If the upcoming reviews show that this is as good as it seems to be right now. this laptop will be a super success, and not only in the -gamers- market.

The downward firing speakers ruin this for me. A 17 inch laptop should have great speakers with a woofer inside. For shame MSI, the Blade Pro has top firing speakers.

I thought gs75 was going to be full gtx2080 not the max q version?
That being said, I would expect it to be the max q because it's a thin and light.

Seems like the end of high powered 15- thin and lights. At least outside of Razer. Both ASUS and MSI trademarks are now 17-. Kinda sucks if you travel.

Just glad someone finally said it MAXQ. I mean most are saying it but I've also seen many miss it out and say how great it is to have a full 2080
