Hi, enjoyed your video. What you said about Windows and Microsoft, I've heard from another tech. about Apple. I suppose once these Giants get so big, they forget where they came from and how they started, so the time comes, the consumers and users that made them giants are no longer significant...Now to why i'm commenting, I have a question. This is my first computer and I need to ask a question but i'm afraid i won't be able to find you again to see your answer but...like another question i left for someone about how to transfer my photos to a thumb drive and i can't find him again to watch if he answered. My question to you..my first computer. Never been able to correctly login with microsoft so I'm actually using my google acct to do that which i did't want, but it's the only way to access the laptop.
I've had this laptop going on 3 yrs., and 3-4 days ago I stumbled on a section by mistake, by chance and found a section contain -my apps- I've never seen before and I did not download or create. All the ones -came pre-installed- I can access no problem. The others that I found just by chance I can no longer find, and it would not allow to be deleted. OK, finally the question is, how do I locate those apps and delete them all? Hope I can find your site again to see your response...but thanks very much. I actually started this comment and lost it somehow and took me 10 minutes to find it to finish my comments...laughing, ha,ha

Windows 10: permanently change and influence automatic updates or deactivate them completely :
1. Press the [Windows] and [R] keys at the same time so that the -Run- command opens.
2. Enter -services.msc- here and confirm with -OK-. You will now receive a long list of all the services -Services (Local)-.
3. Sort the list above by name and look for the entry -Windows Update-.
4. Right-click the service and select -Properties-.
5. Change the -Start type- to whatever you prefer. Confirm the change with the -OK- button.
Warning: if you deactivate them completely important updates are no longer loaded either. If you want to use Windows Update again, simply undo the change.
I-ve set the -Start type- to -manual- and since then I only make the updates when I want to and Windows hasn-t changed this setting independently so far, so that has worked so far, at least on my machines.
Without this setting of the -Start type- to -Manual- in this -Services- list, Windows may completely ignore the individual settings in the standard -Settings - Updates and Security-, for example for the Usage Times, and then during automatic updates also carries out a possible restart.

Windows 95 and 98, pretty Good but that Illegal operation crap sucked.
Windows 2000 and Xp, NOW WE'RE TALKING!
Windows Vista was eeehhhhhh. Driver problems left and right, issues abound but hey Here's Halo 2 ONLY FOR VISTA to help Sell more of this. It still Failed.
Windows 7 was made by God. My Goodness this is incredible for Home, but ESPECIALLY Professional AND ULTIMATE! PLUS Windows XP Backwards compatibility Game support with better hardware to run older games on Ultra Settings, AND 1080p with 60 FPS?!?!?!?! YES PLEASE!
Windows 8 and 8.1, Hey tablets are popular, so we will incorporate that interface on a COMPUTER! But it's not a Tablet, IT'S A COMPUTER! Where is the Start Button?!?!?! What is this WHACKED Design?!?! Uhh... hope the next Version is Better.
Windows 10's favorite color is Blue, as in Blue Screen because even without looking up Porn, or downloading torrents AND Updating the OS, Video Card Drivers, and all other drivers, God Forbid there is a problem and tells you -Critical Process Died- and there are over 500+ Problems JUST IN THAT ISSUE ALONE. Windows 10 is an absolute Trash Fire, and maybe the Worst OS I've Ever used.
Windows 11 ????

After hearing your -Rant-: I am 100% with you on every aspect. But, I began to wonder why Microsoft would allow so much compromise of Americans Security and Privacy. The only thing I could think of was, New World Order! I service and repair Computers. You are more into the networking and administrative aspects of Windows. The reason why we have no security is: It has to be accessable to other countries who are not half as smart as we are. So we must be dumbed down to fulfill a hidden agenda. By the year 2030: You won't need money, debit cards, credit cards, etc. Everything will be paid for you. Entire cities will, and already be run by AI. We will be slaves to the Rothschilds and Rockefellers! You just get up, go to work and come home. Just like the -Jetsons- ie cartoon. No need for money! You can take a 2 week vacation, all expenses paid to Alfa Centauri and back! Wow!

Your issue no. 1... I would just stick a saved system image on the machine and get on with the job. Circa 10 minutes max.
So why are you maxing this point out for all its worth?
You have a great Chanel. I have learned a lot from it. You are a seriously high end Microsoft tech. Guy... So when you hit me with moans like this I can only think you are pissing on me because the solution was so simple and because you would have had an option to install later, or a warning to reboot and install when you shut down, which you must have ignored.
Oh, by the way thanks for the lead in to Linux. It doesn't really do it for me as I am a heavy One Note User and One Note in the Cloud is too slow. But I keep a second boot option for days off.

Another thing is the inconsistency between programs:
they don't even try globalizing themes like gtk and qt are doing on Linux and they cant even manage to keep their own programs consistent:
some -modern- UIs like the new settings, other modern UIs that use a completely different design and ui concept and then some old win7 style UIs all mixed together
Ironically, the old UIs are mostly the easiest to use.
On the modern uis they cant even decide between grey or black theme or menu, sidebar or ribbon bars.

And thats what happens after suffering 2 years of being stuck with Windows 10. Im so glad I ordered a Windows XP laptop off eBay the other day and watch til the day Windows 10 comes off my computer. i'll just wipe the hard drive and install windows 8.1 and call it a day so my family uproars will be over and won't have to deal with being yelled at anymore or being criticized and being embarrassed all over the Internet with nobody helping me or giving a damn!

Here's a novel idea! Use Ubuntu Linux or some other flavor. I cut the Linux computer on and it boots in less than 20 seconds while I can run a 30 minute errand and Windows is still booting. Windows is a POS and will always be a POS. It's for mindless point and click monopoly users! Windows reminds me of someone who loves where they live and would never live anywhere else. Because they have never been anywhere else!

I still have a machine on which I run XP and Windows 7. I use Windows 10 just because I am forced to. However, I still enjoy the older systems with the hundreds of programs I use in them. I spend as little time as possible as I can on Windows 10. I watched this video to try and understand what makes Windows 10 such a disgusting OS. If I were moving to something better than what I had I should not be complaining.

i would say that everyone should use linux cause of thee reaons
1)its tottaly free
2)updates are there but it will take 30-60 second offline and no restart and that means no cost of ur internet
3) its more faster than windows as it will store less cache files
4)more secure than windows it can figjht with any computer viruses
5)more effecient and it is with our privacy not like spying windows
