I was assigned the responsibility of implementing a monthly newsletter for the company I work for. This video was very informative for learning many of the basic skills and concepts. It took longer for me to follow the steps because I had to pause & rewind the video many times. Also, I think my version of Indesign has changed slightly since this video was uploaded. Just the same, I learned a lot and appreciate the time you spent making this tutorial. Now that I have the template laid out and saved for future use if I were to change my unit measures from centimeters to inches, would that change my layout? Thanks again!

This is fantastic. Soothing voice and straight to the point. I can tell the instructor knows exactly what she's doing. I wish it was a little slower to follow, as a beginner in InDesign, because I spent most of my time pausing and rewinding. But, the repetition of doing and hearing everything over and over again, was quite helpful.

This is very helpful. I do have a question though. At minute 15: 00, you copy and paste into the different columns, while maintaining the formatting of the text. How do you do that? For some reason, I can't click into the other columns independently. I'd love some help. Thanks!

11: 18 Tip: For anyone completely new to this, to move the elements from the images layer to the copy layer, click on the green square in the layers panel for the images layer and drag it down to the copy layer

This video is horrible for a beginner. I kept pausing and rewinding the video. The presenter speaks entirely TOO fast! Great video for someone who has knowledge of ID

Great tutorial! I am following your instructions as you speak, however, I'm a beginner, and I'm getting stuck when you say Shift+Option, what key is Option?

Very helpful but way too fast for a complete beginner, I had to keep pausing and rewinding, But it helped me learn so thank you!
