Create a Link to a Specific Part of a Webpage in Google Chrome - OnlineComputerTips UPDATE It now seems that this feature is enabled by default and there is no longer an option to enable or disable it...until they change it again! Normally when you copy a website address (URL) and send it to someone via email or instant message etc., when they click on the link it will take them right to the top of that particular web page. Starting with Google Chrome version 90 you can highlight some text, right click on it and choose the Copy link to highlight option and then paste this customized URL into an email etc. and send it on its way. When the recipient clicks on the link or pastes it into their browser, they will be taken right to the section of that page that contains the text you highlighted and the text will also be highlighted in yellow

video is simple and understandable, but it's not getting me to the required place at the page i made this l8ink of, instead, it just opens up that web page from the start.

You saved my life it's kind of hard to explain but I had a business Idea and it was completely predicated on doing this and I could not figure it out. Thank you!

Other videos on this topic are too longwinded & do not actually give a solution. This video on the other hand, was absolutely fantastic. Thank you!
