How is every paragraph its own block? The entire article in my template is one block. Therefore, I cannot insert a block quote in between the paragraphs of the post. Any guidance would be of great help.

Only thing elementor lacking is custom template for single post and custom post types. I am sure they are working on it. Nevertheless great work by elementor team. Keep it up

I cannot insert a blockquote as show at 0:29 in the middle of two paragraphs it will only let me insert a quote at the beginning or the end. Am I missing something?
