Is Antivirus Necessary for Windows 10? Do You Really Need Antivirus? (Explained) - The Cyber Lab Is antivirus necessary for Windows 10? Do you need an antivirus to stay safe from digital threats? We'll cover everything in this video. Get special discounts on the best antivirus picks Wondering if Windows Defender is good enough? Watch this video: https://youtu.be/awGusedu3is As we all know, the world has not remained the same since the advent of the internet. While it has mostly been life-changing for most people in a positive way, some of its accompanying elements, like cybercrime and malware, have ruined others. As most people keep sensitive data on their computers and smartphones, its easy to see why cybercriminals are always looking to hijack peoples data, using destructive malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks. According to Forbes, the cybercrime damages are expected to cost the world a whopping $6 trillion annually by 2022. Similarly, the AV-Test institute alone detects over 350,000 new malware samples every single day. If you dont want to end up as just another victim of cybercrime, you need to protect all your internet-capable devices with a reliable antivirus suite. However, with many free antivirus programs emerging in recent times, most people cant help but wonder if a paid antivirus is really worth it these days. We think that a premium antivirus software is a must if youre serious about protecting your devices and data. Here are the top reasons why you should go for a premium antivirus suite: 1) Wide range of security-enhancing features 2) Multi-layered malware and ransomware protection 3) Ease of use 4) Premium customer support 5) Multi-platform compatibility On the other hand, free antivirus programs have some serious limitation, including: 1) Lack of comprehensive protection 2) Limited features 3) Annoying ads 4) Lack of customer support So, its evident that a premium antivirus suite is the best way to protect data, privacy, and identity of yourself and your loved ones and ensure complete peace of mind. Overall, Norton is our top pick for the best antivirus software. It offers a slew of advanced protection-related features as well as top-notch anti-malware protection with minimal system performance impact. Bitdefender and McAfee are second and third on our list, respectively. Whichever product you choose, dont forget to purchase it through the official links we have shared above. We have negotiated exclusive discounts with almost all the top antivirus brands, so you will save a lot of money if you buy through our links. Also

Since torrent is gone I dont think that any Anti-Virus is need to be on any Windows system. I dont need no one AntiVirus anymore since Torrent is arrested and I wont have even one pirated Game at all there is no threats at all in my computer so I dont need Windows Defender Windows Smart screen and so on by Torrent is gone I dont need any Anti-Virus at all only inbuilt Windows Firewall, only thing on internet what was been infected was been non-original Games not that they are gone I dont need any Anti-Virus, but nice in times When AntiVirus was been need maybe I was need it on 1970s when FTP was been, specially since 2001 when BitTorrent was created it wont exist anymore Torrent so I dont need any AntiVirus or something like that, specially Windows defender since there is no virus on internet at all called Torrents P2P.

My personal choice has been Norton. I remember Norton being the first anti virus to be compatible with windows 10 on day one i.e 2015 year.
Also I never found it irritating me with annoying pop-ups like Kaspersky and Bitdefender constantly does.
Also I never felt boot up slowdowns which often a case with Kaspersky.
It never messed with windows updates- just like Bitdefender does.
Lastly it's a peace of mind having Norton installed, it never bothers me and I know it will do its job once I'm infected.
You made a great video

Most free AVs are without ADs: Panda, Kaspersky, Adaware, Forticlient, etc. Free users work for the AV company, they act as honeypots, the more users, the better service for premium users. All the extra content is actually bloatware, it can be replaced for free too anyway. I would gladly pay for free AV and I would not use a paid AV, even if they would pay me for it.

HANG ON!!!... this looks like click bait. I have stopped the video at 20 seconds because this sounds like a paid marketing video for antivirus. I am going to report this video as a spam.

Ahhh Norton. The antivirus program that:
1. Made my computer very slow
2. Difficult to uninstall
3. Didn't give any protection whatsoever - still my pc had a virus and said they quarantined it
The best anti-virus protection is COMMON SENSE. If you see a big DOWNLOAD button you probably don't want to click on it.

why would you promote anti-virus programs at the start of the video when in fact the video is all about discussing whether antivirus is necessary or not? besides that, its a great video!
