Well, i use a surface pro 3 and do a lot of piracy either anime, visual novel or software, so getting false positive's not an option for me when the tuning on virustotal say it's ok when antivirus got an antipiracy stand. The fact i am always lacking space and being ultra expert give me more problem. 256gb ssd + 128gb microsd's not enough when i got 20tb external (8gb on a desktop+spare external hdd, so knowing it help me for data management give me a smile on the face. Thank you buddy. -_-

3: 18 Couldn't it be slowed down because Windows Defender was reading some other data on your hard drive at the same time, hence adding latency/slowing down your whole hard drive including the file transfer?
But if that was the case, it would mean that Windows Defender was working in the background for EVERY test. And it would not explain the results when you transferred from your ssd to your hard drive.
So I might be wrong

Also, I'm editing in After Effects which the program is in the SSD and the files in an external HDD. It affects the program like I'm doing a transfer?
Working with a lot of processes (3D Camera Tracker mainly) got crashing the program, and is also true that I'm using CC 2018.

I use check point Zonealarm free antivirus and firewall it does a better job than anything else it actually finds viruses and treats them McAfee doesn't do it Norton doesn't do it so I never use those ones and when does the defender doesn't do it

lol that guy is an idiot tbh. If a script runs on a website or a popup shows up maybe silently install an agent on your PC virustotal isn't going to save him. e must be copy and pasting everything before he clicks on the website rofl.

Even IF you transfer a lot of data to your computer every day, you still have to have the AV enabled, but just exclude the directory that you are transferring the data to. There is no excuse to disable AV.

Antivirus programs also slow down your pc and browser experience believe me I tested. Use Avast free, Avira free AVG free. etc and don't download everything on your pc
and you will be safe

it depends on the game, There is a sim called X-Plane 11, with Windows defender I get 20 fps without it I get 30 fps which at my current settings is very good. On Fortnite I see nothing

it depends on how much ram you have, you have 32 GB so it doesn't really affect anything, but i might really affect people with laptops with 2 or 4 gb or pcs with 8 gb ram
