I'd love to be able to turn it off! I hate it. I've generally nicely formatted a pivot table for a user and tried to limit their options in what they can do in a spreadsheet, and inevitably they break it with this (worse if I have a macro that runs on pivot change or refresh that effectively cancels undo)!
Also, if you're in a pivot table and press Ctrl (or shift, I can't remember) twice, it triggers the quick explore menu. Not a big problem, but it weirdly also triggers when you're in the VBA window too, so it obviously takes control/focus in some weird fashion.

Mynda, it is so good this very hidden feature. Thank you,
I'm a user of Office 365 and using the latest feature of Excel, however, when I use pivot tables which are generated by power pivot, I can't see this popup. How can I find it or explore it to be visible?

Sometimes I wonder if you can see inside my head as I'm thinking I wish how to do x y or z.
Once again something I can use straight away, thank you

I second EIB's comments. I don't see the icon or the drop down menu choice with office 365. Is it not available in 365?
