You can use a feature called Access Control in VMware Workstation to lock down your VMs so other users cannot access them or change their settings via the console. You can also use this feature to restrict access to the vmx configuration files so changes cannot be made there as well.
Holmes: Hello, thank you for this beautiful and informative video. VmWareWorkstation 15.5 also had features such as blocking our virtual computer from being moved while encrypting it, but I couldnt find anything like this in version 16, I would be grateful if you could help. Date: 2022-03-31
