I bought the subscription 365 business from a store and new computer. The store has online 24/7 remote service to install and other services. So they installed, we think, then I told the online guy, I need to open and test the software to see if it's really installed and without pop up errors. So I open Access icon from the desktop that the guy put on the desktop screen, so when I open it pops the Microsoft screen website saying do you want 1 month trial or purchase now. Why this page popping up, if the guy just installed my subscription, so then the guy say he would restart the computer and the guy disappears. So when I turn on the computer on it shows the sign in screen, I click and pops a white screen saying do you want to search for app in the store.. What's the heck is that. Now I can't even login in my computer. Yes or No. If you click yes or no, the white screen comes back with same question. Now they want me to take the brandnew computer to the store to resolve the problem, on the phone the gig squad could not resolve. I wonder if the remote guy locked my computer and he is in India. They did know what was that pop up meant. I got so frustrated. I told the store, can't you go after the guy and ask him what he did or continue working on the computer. They can't go after the guy. It seems it's not safe doing this service online to install. Now I wonder, was I scammed by bad IT guy, or its incompetence. If I knew all this would happen, I would not buy the subscription from the store, I would just go online microsoft and use the software and just pay and no hassle and worries. I think. So why my computer got locked. I can't login. Is my computer using his account? OMG.

Looks tempting, but there are immediately glaring problems here:
1. What good is all that processor speed and memory, if you don't have a fast enough Internet connection at home? Cloud PC having an 8GBps Internet connection does no good if your home connection is only 100MBps, right?
2. Of course if the Internet goes you can't access your own computer.
3. And the worst thing of all, in this era of security breaches, to have ALL my PC's files, even the most confidential ones, just floating out there on the cloud for anyone to hack? We've already got Facebook, Google, and Twitter collecting and selling user data, censoring speech they don't like. What if someone at Microsoft doesn't like your politically incorrect social media post and decides to snoop through your PC for -hate speech-? And of course it's technically THEIR computer. You're RENTING it, it is not YOURS, so in effect you don't even own your own data. Yes I do keep some (low-sensitivity) files on the cloud so I can access them anywhere like in my home network, but 95% of it is on a protected, local hard disc. With my tower, I own it and all the data I produce on it, I manage it, I and only I have access to it. Yes I have to maintain it myself and can't play CPU-intensive video games while out and about. Teeny tiny price to pay.
We've got enough information about ourselves floating about cyberspace already, I'd say hell no to this. Besides, what are the chances I'd need to edit a video when I'm just out and about. I'll wait until I'm at home in front of my PC to do it.

Access to broadband and fast Internet through cloud and any old computer or chromecast tv or say television that can mirror any cloud services is the possible from just any broadband provider world wide and no hidden costs from Microsoft or Internet providers will there be more available services through Windows 360 deals and how does the online application process start is it free for people who use Microsoft Office and currently have access already though their online accounts of the Internet no additional costs then one payment only once and forever?

Great Video Kevin! However, one point that would benefit from further explanation:-- What's the minimum hardware requirements to run, for instance, an HDR video on 365? Clearly, an HDR-capable monitor is required, but what hardware/interface is required between the HDR video stream and the monitor? If a graphics card is required, does this also need to be HDR-capable?

OMG the prices! That is so ridiculously overpriced! For the puniest, crappiest, lowliest little VPS you pay as much as you would otherwise pay for a premium server! Holy crap, who in the WORLD would be dumb enough to pay for that scam?!?

It's a no for me, since I'm a gamer, but it definitely has some good potential for those who need portability without the need for dragging a laptop around and access it with a smartphone or a tablet.

Very expensive monthly plan at this moment... for just 4 gigs of ram 2cpu and 128gb of hd....
is more cheaper to create a cloud machine in any other server provider.

So Microsoft will make us not only dependent on their software, but now they have so much money that they want to make us dependent on the hardware they've amassed.
