Hey Derrick,
If you see this, can you think of an easy way to do a whitelist firewall within a browser? I mean, like, some kind of way to have a -magic (sudo) button- or hotkey that can write a new text line in a wrt linux router's iptables whitelist.
Currently I have to open a special browser, log into my network firewall, nav to the specific device settings, and finally make changes to the whitelist and port access. There has to be a better, more streamlined way to do this. I've used IPtables and UFW before but I'd rather be able to monitor and filter traffic before and between devices. How could someone embed a way to add a site to a whitelist without compromising security?

I'm using nano not very confident for vim yet. But I was comfortable with Qutebtowser from the start. The concept is so amazing, much better than mouse or touchpad.
I also avoide using mouse and preferre trackballs, because had experience with trackball earlier and it is really much better. People simple don't know about trackballs.

Have you ever read the Qutebrowser documentation especially the part with :config-write-py --defaults? ;)
For me this is a better alternative than the copy of autoconfig because it contains nearly all options qutebrowser understands with the corresponding description.

also after changing to dark mode, you might want to edit this
colors.webpage.bg (Default: white)
Background color for webpages if unset (or empty to use the theme's color).
-to change the white flash whenever loading things,

trying to find setting for what the new tab is going to be , changing my start page and darkmode working great though. The mpv bind is definitely better then watching the ad's , thanks for that

Hey DT, consider checking out jblock on gitlab, it's a minimal adblock for qutebrowser and it's far better than the builtin one. also try to add more adblocking lists to your config.

Nice vid :) I'd suggest though also talking about available userscripts for entering login/passwords, which is available for e.g pass and a couple others too. Pretty neat imho.

Thanks Distrotube. I was looking for minimal browser and Qutebrowser was my choice. Your tutorials helped me a lot. I will be awaiting for more if you make any in future. :)

Not to judge anyone but I don't understand the point of configuring a web browser. I download firefox and sign in and everything is synced. But to each his own.
