Why does this tool not offer the option for arrows and the ability to type some text into the screenshot? It seems like such basic functionality, but it really kills me that this tool doesn't offer this. It would seem like a no-brainer and would instantly catapult it to a must use tool. Sometimes I just want to point to something in the screenshot and type something. I don't want squiggly lines that I tried to draw in there. That's garbage. A few more editing features and this thing would be primo. Please MS upgrade this tool. Thanks for the great content Kevin!

Hi Kevin. I like yours movies, are very practical. I am looking for tool to screenshoot part of window, but few times the same area. You can imagen, when I use CAD program with movable parts, I have few setups of aligment. I want to make screenshoot, then change aligment, and then make screenshoot again (exaclly the same part of window). If I use snip tool is always a little diffrent area. Do you have idea how to do it? I need special program? -
Sorry for long explanation. Best regards.

FYI: If you want to make many screenshots in succession and want them to be saved, there are two ways:
A) Use windows button + print -> Screenshot is autosaved in pictures folder.
B) B1) Enable windows button + v (clipboard history) B2) All the screenshots you make like in this video will be accessible via windows button + v. (Just make sure to transfer the ones you need to a stable saving place before shutting down your PC).

Thanks for the great tutorial. Dont know if you can help with an issue with my snip tool. Sometimes (not all the time) when I try to snip it appears to not bring over the snipped content. So I just see a grey screen on the snip tool when I should see the content that I have chosen to snip. Have you seen this problem before? Not sure if you can help...

Hi, Can u advise if Snip & Sketch can be run in command-line mode.....so minimal interaction/visual display....say only the selection of area to snip but all other info is passed via command line? Trying to create a hotkey for Snip & Sketch with minimal interaction, with AutoHotkey. Pls ur expertise would be helpful. Thks.

Why, when I press the Windows logo + shift + S can I take a shot of my screen, but do not go to the Snip screen to be able to annotate or draw on it? Only if I actually open the snip and sketch tool does my screen capture go to the app so I can annotate it?

Thanks mate...always appreciate your useful videos with tips and tricks in Windows!
if this can do scroll capture, that would be awesome + if it has the tools to draw rectangles, straight lines and stuff when annotating

Your tags for this video looks quite familiar. Is it possible to drag in other peoples' tags and how can I do it for my videos? what are the benefits especially for seo. Please make a video on tags and they use in this way.

Kevin:
How do you resize an image with Snip & Sketch?
Example:
You Snip & Sketched an image from an image and it's
size of a thumbnail and obviously you want it bigger
so you can see it.
