How to Share your Video & Content side-by-side in Microsoft Teams - Kevin Stratvert learn how you can share your webcam side-by-side with content in Microsoft Teams. By default, you have no control over where your video appears in a Microsoft Teams meeting. Your video is relegated to the bottom right corner. On mobile, attendees might not even see your video. With this technique, you can regain full control over where your video and content appear. Microsoft is working to improve this experience in Teams. Until that happens, this is a good workaround. Resources called out in this video: - Webcam Viewer: https://download.cnet.com/WebcamViewer/3000-12510_4-75324168.html - OBS: https://obsproject.com/ - How to get started using OBS: https://youtu.be/QKmrDUJFRkM 1:02 Example of the issue 2:12 Display video on top using Webcam viewer 4:52 Display video on top using OBS 7:42 Share content and video side-by-side in Microsoft Teams 10:25 Wrap up

I'm assuming this setup will also work in Zoom. This really isn't that hard. I might be able to teach my non-tech savvy presenters how to do it. Thanks for the tips. Is there a way to record the presenter and the content external from Zoom in a custom format? OBS, maybe? My presenters are all over the country with limited tech set-up (read: just their laptop) and I need to be able to record them in a more high-quality video than Zoom will allow.

Kevin,
Great video. Only problem is that it deactivated my camera on OBS which was set up with all my scenes and sources. When going to my settings in OBS it states -Video output is currently active. Please turn off any outputs to change video settings-. Cant seem to fix this. Any suggestions? Just cant get it to view on OBS only on webcamviewer. charles

If you already have OBS installed i would suggest creating multiple scenes and have a dedicated screen where you display your scene on. You can then share this screen on teams. Then there is no need for the other applications and you don't have any sidebars to worry about.

If you want to get rid of the Title bar of the OBS Windowed Projector window, you can use a small autohotkey script WinSet, Style, -0xC00000, A ; toggle title bar or WinSet, Style, -0xC00000, A ; remove title bar. Note if removed you can not move the window anymore.

Hi Kevin, thanks for all your videos! They are very helpful. I'm not sure if you have one for the Classroom Notebook in Teams. I would appreciate to watch some tips on how to use the features. Thanks again.

I love the new presenter modes but when I view the recordings, I'm tiny! during the meeting I am normal sized and it looks great but when I watch the recording, I'm tiny! Any thoughts?

Kevin, this content is great! Can I do this with multiple people as I interview them for a presentation to give our audience? Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.
