PowerPoint timers + video-conferencing? Thanks for the advice about timers Kevin. Many of us are delivering presentations via video-conferencing - is there a way to ensure the timer continues whilst, say, admitting people to a video conference? I've created a countdown timer (-xyz will start in nn minutes-), but whenever I admit someone to the conference, the PowerPoint timer stops. Is there a way to prevent this? I am using Presenter view, using monitor 1 for notes plus conferencing controls, sharing the presentation from monitor 2. Thanks

It sure seems like MS could create a little app within PP to allow users to alter the timer settings and appearances and make this IMMENSELY simpler for the user. The timer choices from 'Add ins' are a bit of a joke.
Also, I cannot access the PPT presentation that is provided in the notes above. All I get is an error message.

Hi Kevin! Thanx for sharing intricate insights with your videos! I am interested in learning how to create and insert custom countdown animated videos that preceed scenarios! For example, showing top ten trends that are preceded by an introductory video showing 10 then the content, then 9 followed by the relevant content.

----- I want to animate like this. Such as: -I love you- This will be changed into -I am loving you- after mouse click in the same line. The total changing process will be seen in that line. How to do this ? please make a video. I will be grateful to you.

I would like to start a PowerPoint at a scheduled time. My example would be looping from 530am until 700am and also again at 530pm until 700pm. My problem is it is a locked windows 10 desktop and the locked part causes me problems

I am working on using one of the Add-In timers. When I am in SlideShow mode the timer does not start automatically. If I click the -start- button, it advances to my next slide. What might I be doing wrong? Thanks

Is it possible to run a timer over several slides? More specifically, 10 slides that will transition to at random time, in other words not connected to timer. The timer runs for 5 min.

Question: With the first add-in timer, when I go to -play- my PPT the time doesn't count down. It does on my control screen but not on the part the audience is viewing. Any tips?

If you want a 10 inute timer you'd have to create and animate 600 text boxes. This is really inefficient. Is there an easier option other than just pasting a youtube video?
