Roboform screwed me so bad many years ago, I swore I would never use them again. I paid for a license, which was a lifetime license. Later, they did an upgrade to their software, and wanted me to pay an upgrade fee. That's when I switched to Lastpass. Now they're screwing me, so I'm going to Bitwarden, which is better than Roboform, in my opinion. It's also free, and most people can get by with the free version like me. If you need a premium account it's just $10.00 a year, less than a dollar a month. Roboform is over 23 dollars a year.

I can't even get into LastPass. It's impossible. And there is no way to recoup all of the pass words that I have in there. I must have wrestled with them two hours or more trying to get into my account. I really believe they were trying to stiff me. One more thing.....how do I transfer the large number of passwords I have stored in LastPass...i.e. what about moving to one of the password managers you are suggesting.

I have a question about password managers that I have not been able to find someone to answer. If I have and PW manager and use it to generate a great pw, how do I log in to an account on say my work computer? Or a friends computer? Would I have to install something or is there a way around entering a complex pw. I hope you understand the question and can give me some guidance.

I trusted this video and was UTTERLY disappointed... I used to be a Roboform customer until they changed their business model... Then used Lastpass until they raised prices recently... Watched this vid, went back to Roboform: What a CLUNKY, UTTERLY USELESS PIECE OF SHIT!!! I requested a refund... Serves me right to listen to some random dude I never heard before...

LastPass' customer support is so utterly garbage that it drove me to 1Password. They'll cut and paste canned responses that are irrelevant. I've been a paid LastPass member for years, yet LastPass hides its phone number. 1Password is a little less polished but seems to fill forms better. Apple's been pushing 1Password for years.

I don't know if I was doing it wrong, but Roboform has one of the ugliest if not the Ugliest password print-off i've ever seen. LastPass'es print-offs are beautiful. Switched from Roboform to last pass years ago. As I recall it took Roboform an embarrassingly long time to implement two factors.

1:32 - What? You are ridiculous. What are you even talking about? Your devices always hold on to the last vault they downloaded. Anyone could test this with zero effort. Unplug your computer from the internet or put your phone in airplane mode and go see if you can access your passwords.

This video is misleading. Lastpass does keep a copy of your passwords on your devices if you A. Use the paid plan and B. Enable it. The offline vault is encrypted. Also never had a problem with server access, their uptime is as good as any other big tech company. Just my 2 cents.

In my conclusion, I recommended you try the different ones with just a couple passwords for a trial. Pick which one best suits your workflow.
So which password manager do you use and why?

How can you recommend a password manager that does not support Yubikey? Yes it is easy, but less secure without Yubikey. Please correct me if I am wrong and Yubikey is supported in someway.
