Well, I followed every step in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. But there is no client.ovpn file in /etc/openvpn/client folder.
But I do have client.ovpn in the home directory. Should I just copy the file using this command:
sudo scp pranav-exam:/home/pranav/client.ovpn /etc/openvpn/client/- ?
But this command throws this error message:
ssh: connect to host exam port 22: Connection refused-
I am stuck. What to do? #help

An amazing tutorial, one year later and it will be updated and 100% working!
Just one tip that I cannot understand in the video and take me some time to understand why I can't connect to the vpn.
If you are using a Virtual Machine in some cloud provider, for example, azure, aws(...) by default all the ports as not open to outside, so don't forget to open port 1194.

Hi there, if one wants to make multiple location vpn , for instance i need to create multiple countries vpn for my iOs backend . DO I need to buy multiple location vpn and then use there config in my application, or is there any way to buy one server and get all other country locations in it .

Sir I am not techy as your are but I need help from you and I don't know if it is possible. here's the thing, I have a corporate internet connection in my office and then if its possible to use it in my home through vpn using only wifi modem? Sorry but I don't know how to explain this..

I have a Asus router/modem that i established VPN server on it.
When I'm in range ( same network) i can connect the vpn but when i want connect to it from another network ( like work) doesnt connect to it .
Is there a way to solve it?

Can I have this on a raspberry pi set up on my university campus network?
My school forces me to use some proprietary garbage if I wanna connect to uni network from home...
This is needed sometimes to get lisences etc. ...

I need to use an Android App to controll a pice of equipment. I can only use it on the Local network is there a way I could use a vpn to get my phone to connect throug a VPN to access the device.
