A distant relative of my late 2nd wife, had gone through a hellish divorce and called to say she was selling all her ex's computer stuff since he is prison for 30 years. My wife and I took the trip 90 miles, took my pickup. When we got to her house she opened the garage door, inside it was a pc nerds heaven. I asked her what's for sale, and she said 150 for everything... I want my garage back. SOLD!!! One of the things that caught my eye was a Magnum TH10, with a pallet crate of Case Labs parts to build TH-10's and SM8's. The guy went to prison for grand theft and trafficking of stereo equipment etc. HMMMMM. Is there such a thing as accessory after the fact if some one buys a bunch of stolen parts for pc cases? His wife said he was going to build and sell PC's... where he got the money to buy all this computer stuff is why he went to prison. I bought the already built Magnum and a SM8 kit for the 150 and told her to do a craigslist or something, there was a fortune in that garage. She bought a new Escalade not soon after.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this EU charger meddling. The phone industry was already moving toward consolidating on Type C and USB PD compatible charging long before this. This mandate seems like it might have been helpful five years ago, but now, it's just heavy handed for no reason and will harm consumers (no bundled chargers, meaning chargers will likely cost more) and stifle innovation in charging (ie, potentially no better fast charging standards than whatever the EU dictates). There are even third-party fast charging standards that are still USB PD compatible, but will charge faster if their specific charger is used (Oneplus Warp Charge comes to mind). That's just outright better than basic USB PD with no downside, but would be verboten by this new policy if I understand it correctly.

Maybe the best thing is to not review anything NZXT, to not mention them at all. They shot themselves in the foot with a very sloppy case, were luckily exposed before the burnt down somebody's home, possibly causing a death, and although they seem like they solved it they made a meal of it - showing how not to handle things well. Their reputation now needs repair, and clearly they need reviewers to double-check their designs and work quality, so they don't release another dangerous lemon.

Maybe the best thing is to not review anything NZXT, to not mention them at all. They shot themselves in the foot with a very sloppy case, were luckily exposed before the burnt down somebody's home, possibly causing a death, and although they seem like they solved it they made a meal of it - showing how not to handle things well. I would love to see more PS5 Testing overall. More And different Batches and more different Tests. With and without the SSD and with or without the Slot Cover. With and without an Cooler. I know its recommended with and also with the Cover but it would be nice to see the different outcomes. Different Coolers would be also nice to Test. But i get that you cant test like every SSD with every Cooler and with or without the Cover. And also with like 5 different PS5s. This would take to much Time.

Just because someone bought the IP doesn't mean it's coming back anytime soon, not unless the new owner partners up with a major PC manufacturer who actually has the manufacturing capacity and experience. I don't see CaseLabs (the company) coming back in the next 18 months. OTOH, if the new owner breaks a deal with say ThermalMake I could see it coming back a lot sooner. Bottom line is it's not that easy; especially, by the sound of it, that this is a personal purchase.

RIP Sir Clive. Even as an American, you got me into home computers. My favorite being the Sinclair QL. So different, a hardware and software mess, but made my home computer tinkering a passion for many years to come. Sir Clive had ideas and a visionary at times. But he couldn't run a business at all. Should have stayed in the back with the engineers instead of up front with the bean counters. In the end, Sir Clive will be missed.

I'm really happy you acknowledged the passing of Sir Clive Sinclair. As a kid of the 80s, growing up in the UK, the 8-bit computer war between the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 (of which I had) and Sir Alan Sugar's Amstrad CPC464 really pushed the gaming scene - consoles like the Sega Master System and NES had somewhat of a following but it was the three computers that formed the foundation of the scene back then. Good times.

It's monitoring all your apps, everything you type, every mouse movement, every sound you make, every image you view, everything you do when it's running gets sent to discord. That's where the money is. The chat app is all free and open source. It's the data they collect while it's running, that they'll pay cash for.

so we should expect to see a wireless only charging iphone (that is made to only charge from apple wireless chargers) within the next 2 years? the wording of the law is extremely important and if the law flat out doesn't apply to wireless solutions then i can see apple moving that way and locking down the apple wireless charger to the iphone.
The only hurdle for apple then is charging speed.

Case Labs, if you don t know the name, don t bother, they ll be gone again soon. Very few people want to pay 500 or more for a case. Someone probably just bought the name and IP so they could sue ThermalTake for ripping off their designs and selling them for way less money
My Core W200 is basically a blatant copy of a Case Labs case, but for half the price so, sorry Case Labs
