We got our first snowfall of the winter on November 1, which was preceded by a mild but early fall. I was surprised to see a moose cow and calf up to their necks in a beaver pond eating lilies this late in the year

For the beauty of the earth, and to see God's animals just unbelievable. I am 75 and would love to experience the out doors as I did as a kid in Arkansas. My brother and I covered the 10 acres our parents owned, exploring the caves and swimming and as I see your beautiful oasis, I can not but help and be invious just a tad. I went. You our home the other day, my parents of course are gone but all of the beautiful memories of my childhood cam flooding back. Thanks for allowing me into your interest santitum for a brief time. I am not a TV watcher and I have seen everyone of your video's up to this time, enjoyed watching you build your. Beautiful cabin.

Hi Shawn. I discovered your videos about 3 weeks ago. I would really love to do what you're doing.
Of late I've had an urge to go camping out. I haven't done anything like that in 40 years. I'll be 64 in April.
The scenery, the music, the food, the hard work you do and the companionship that you share with Cali
send out positive messages in a world that is mostly filled with bad news.
Thanks for allowing us, your viewers to have a window into your world and living vicariously through you.
Take care and be well.

I love your exceptional work. Not only your ability to build anything (personally I know you could build a rocket to get to the moon if you wanted) but your professional and high-quality production is outstanding to watch and hear. You make very slick, informative pieces of art film, that just happens to be addictive to watch.

Canada is such a beautiful country, especially where you decided to build you cabin, Shawn; so much beautiful wildlife too. A person could get lost in all the beauty there; perfect place & way to really live!

Your cabin is looking so much more homey with the addition on the side. I know it took hard work to build and takes more hard work to heat and maintain, but it sure looks cozy and idyllic!

Theres one thing disturbing about this whole thing- Im not in it.
By the way, my wife bought me a coffee press. I love the coffee.
I just need a few acres and a comfy cabin, by a lake.

Where do you get your water? Do you have a well? I cant remember you ever showing where the water source is but I probably just missed it. Could you show it again? Thanks!
