Did the quick one tonight.
Didn't use fish sauce as my girlfriend is a veggie. Made her pepper, baby sweetcorn, sugarsnap peas, tofu, and red onion kebabs whilst I had chicken thigh kebabs. Prepared the sauce in the morning to marinate the chicken (also have the Kenwood chopper, which made things super easy, so the evening dinner was super quick. Had the sauce on the stove, adding water and reducing, whilst the kebabs grilled. I think that makes the sauce even better - it becomes richer and I think it's nicer warm anyway.
Whilst I enjoy Sorted videos for their entertainment value, I had never tried a recipe before because I wasn't sure if they actually stood up against other well-reviewed chef recipes available. Gotta say, both my girlfriend and I loved the recipe. She thought it was amazing and tasted like being in Asia. It's now on our will want to eat again list.
Totally recommend giving the quick recipe a go.
[Edit: Forgot to say - we also put some basmati on the go too, and she loved the sauce just mixed with that. We've got plenty left and she's already said she's having the same tomorrow night]

Smooth peanut butter is an Illuminati plot to take over the world with peanut flavor Crisco, like that gross filler between Nutter Butter cookies (those are still Pure and Holy and thus may be eaten by those with no anaphylaxic reaction to peanuts. I demand Proof Of Peanuts before I hand over my 2. 50.
And Jamie could have used peanuts in his nuless sauce. Peanuts aren't nuts - they're legumes, AKA beans.
Hmmm. Peanuts and broadbeans parboiled then fried off in butter or even real pork lard would probably be really good under some smoked sweet paprika, fresh ground black pepper, and some kosher salt.

HI Ive watched you guys literally forever but ive never commented bc lol no reason i really like you guys and ive seen you progress. ive noticed TASTY has started doing 3 diff times recipes like you have been for a while. i don't know if its stealing but i personally am all up in youtube and you were the only people i saw doing it. i just want yall to know

3 recipes idea? Coffee cake, summertime food? Thats quite broad but, uh BLT, Breakfast food, Risotto, Tiramisu, Calzones, Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Sandwich, Salmon, another very broad one but uhm putting sweet in savory? I dont have an exact idea for that? It could even go for pass it on, pancakes or waffles? Thats all I got please do something

It's _VERY_ simple to make satay nut free, you get peanut butter, and as long as it's only got peanuts, there you go - nut free!
Peanuts are _NOT_ nuts, so if someone says they're allergic to nuts, they don't have a peanut allergy, but peanut allergy is much worse than a nut allergy, so be careful for people with that

This looks delicious. But I wouldn't be able to try it since I'm allergic to anything shellfish. Could you all try to make alternative versions of your top 5 meals that have shrimp paste or fish sauce so that those of us allergic don't feel left out. Would be awesome of you guys.

I was so excited to see a recipe for satay that did not use nuts, being allergic to them.
However like most of the other people i know that suffer with nut allergies, you've replace the nuts with seeds that we can't eat either.

Ok so let's get this clear, COOKING is never hard or even takes long. What is tiring and stops me from cooking alot is preparing and cleaning which sometimes takes hours. Cooking? Fun. Before it and after it? Not much.

Thigh/tenderloins are such a better cut than breast. I'm sure when cooked right it is fine. but when ever I have had any sort of skewer with breast meat its chewy, or just really stringy.
