New Zealand is on the continent of Zealandia the 8th continent confirmed a couple of months ago, Great that you made the Mince and cheese pie it is by far the favorite, I had one today
for lunch not as spicy as yours, the list of pies made by our little bakery is quite long Butter chicken, Seafood, Bacon and egg, Steak and cheese, Steak and mushroom, are just a few, happy that you used cheddar cheese, btw NZ beef and lamb is 100% grass fed and finished, unfortunately 80/20 ground beef is not a thing here, I use 50/50 beef and pork for burger patties.

Good banana cream pie is great! But sometime the cheapo pies are very meh. Artificial banana flavor is awful. The best banana cream pie is vanilla pudding that lets the bananas add their flavoring through the infusion that naturally takes place. So you have to let the pie rest for a while. And do not cook the bananas! (I put some in the hot pudding once in hopes it would infuse flavor more but it made the bananas hard and mealy. It was a big bummer)

Could you add a sort by date on your recipe page on your website I went looking for this recipe and couldn't find it there or here in the video!
Maybe just add a side navigation that shows a list of recipes from the most recent downward and then keep everything else as it is
And I was hoping that you'd talk about how Gochujang actually tastes- flavor palate, please!

Banana pudding is freakin delicious! Do you need oil in the pan if your cooking ground beef Add some celery and some mustard and that would make a great sloppy joe mixture. Could you also do that with chili Overall, another great recipe, as usual. I can't keep up you need to slow down, Lol

Banana cream pie is still my favorite dessert. I'm with the Mr. Unavailable! However my mom made the Banana pudding from scratch instead of the cheap box pudding we buy today, and she would top it with a butterscotch drizzle sprinkled slightly with ground red chillies it's amazing

I spent my summers in the Catskill Mountains from 1965-1972. It was nothing like Dirty Dancing, although my mom used to go to a spa in one of the fancier hotels like in the movie. Anyway, I know what the Catskills are.
I have t try this pie. Looks so good/

All pies, cream pies, then fruit pies. Banana cream, lemon meringue, coconut cream, and butterscotch & chocolate, in that order! Meat pies are an entree, so it’s food not dessert. I really appreciate a meat pie. Especially corned beef/ mashed potato pie.

Us kiwis don't tend to like spicy food. Mince and cheese is meant to be a basic pie. Steak and cheese is the better variant IMO. We have no shortage of fancy gourmet pies these days. Take a look at the likes of fatbastardpies online for reference.

Chance: the BEST and freshest banana cream pie you can buy in So Cal is at The Apple Pan on Pico Blvd. in West LA. It’s chunky. Soooo good! Their burgers are pretty epic but skip the slice of pie and take a whole one to go home. or do both

Aprox 10 min mark of video.
Oh, lookie, the Aussies and Kiwis are crying right now.
Well this Aussie's crying. That ain't no Aussie pie, maybe a pie our hereditary British may have made a century ago, but definitely not Aussie.

I like all pies as long as the pastry is good. Pasties with sausage, calzones with Italian sausage, empanadas with spiced beef, sweet pies with apples, peaches, blue berries, Bananas, Chocolate, Peanut butter, etc. Yea, pies are good!

I love to see pies with both bottoms and tops! Having only a top for a pie just seems like cheating to me. Probably because I love the whole pie experience. ;)
I'd love to see Shepherd's pie with potato topping and a pie bottom!

Recipe is not below. You always say that and it isn’t there, it isn’t on your website either. I just checked. Last thing on there is the Stuffing Wings. BTW I just bought some stuffing mix so I can. make them.

I dont know but Sam some how knows when I am craving something. I live in NY and for weeks been trying to find NZ pies but all the places have closed and some how he happens to come out with a recipe for it

Can you make a remix of the noises Sam makes when he tastes the food and it's hot!
Also thanks for not doing the voice over. It was very impersonal. Felt like less interaction with the viewers.

OK, this Aussie, who's never been to NZ, says phewee.
You've probably cooked it correctly, but carrots. not in my Aussie pie.
Are you making a pie or a meat pastie
PS: I'm only 4 minutes in.

reply

Oh yippee, holland peppers, really spicy, Gochu powder, spicy, Gochuchang spicy paste. You can now taste nothing as you whole palate is numbed from spice, so you eat spicy chunks of spiciness
reply

I'd make that with some top sirloin or chuck chopped in my food processor so it's a truly minced, and not ground. Or make a bulgogi and cheese pie. And yes, banana creme pie is delicious.

Steak & kidney, Pepper steak, and chicken mayo or mushroom are my favorite pies. Meat pies are true pies. Pies such as pumpkin pie is America playing a joke on the world.
