Hmmm im not sure how i feel about this video. I know the creativity is there but i dont think the quality is. Im fine with using frozen items when the dish is above a set standard and tbh, nome of this felt up to STCG quality. It just feels like a lot of frozen items reheated and adding an ingredient or 2.
Can the next tail gating episode include some pasta salads Or maybe some interesting sliders A nice black forest hame and swiss slider on a hawaiian roll Or a PB&J with bacon slider Stuffed mushrooms Dont think ive seen you ever make ceviche. What about a curry fried rice Im a huge fan of chorizo fried rice and have suggested it 2 other times. Cube up some apples and cook it in butter, ginger and cinnamon (cardamom option ) and vanilla extract. Put a piece of puff pastry or biscuit dough on the bottom, spoon the filling ontop, cook it and when you serve it, whip cream on top. A bread pudding made out of belgian waffles You know i have never seen anyone make a dish out of toaster strudels. Deep fry them and serge with fresh fruit and chocolate or whipped cream. Ever had an elote cup Take frozen corn, cook in butter, lime juice, paprika/chili powder. When its done cooking, throw in cilantro. Serve in a cup and have cotija cheese and mayo on the side to add. Super simple.
Like. my ideas might he awful but I feel like this video really missed the mark.

I'll certainly be doing this soon.
Sam, I've found that watching your videos (and others, I must confess) has made it where I can follow along and cook better than if I had a recipe. I love cooking for my family- and over the last few years, I've become the main cook in our household and its become my love language.
One of my favorite things to make is cajun style potato soup (what makes it cajun is the addition of andouille sausage)- I'd love to see you make some and see how you would change it!
Much love and respect!

Sorry Sam. I think you have missed the point with tailgating recipes. Last I checked my Landcruiser or Ranger does not have a microwave or oven. I do have a 85l upright fridge with a 6l freezer, so Ill give that.
How about a redo and only use the butane burner, fire, cast iron, dutch oven and fire Although I prefer stainless steel due to its strength and lightness, and when you are at least a week away from anyone let alone the freezer aisle you need reliable.

As someone who buys in bulk, frozen foods are a lifesaver. Especially frozen veggies. I could easily see me making some of these for a drunk Saturday when watching some football lol. Especially the mozz stick/chicken tender muffin cups lol.

Every one of those looked A-MAY-ZING. Will absolutely make some of these. Great concept and great video. MAKE MORE LIKE THIS PLEASE! I've made the taco one only it was with chicken fingers instead of fish sticks, and it was very good.

I have glass top stove but I also like cooking with cast iron sometimes. So I bought on of those burners you use so I can use my cast iron pans, safely. Also works great my woks! My Son-in-law uses one for camping.

All looks great, but was hoping for tailgating recipes. meaning no microwave, no oven. cooked on things you would have at a tailgate. grill, flattop etc. Keep up the great work.

All I heard during the fish stick portion was fish dicks. if you watch South Park, you know. If not. for the love of god look it up and watch the episode about fish dicks. lol.

Sam - they’re not called handfuls. They’re called hand piles. IYKYK
Also - the burrito had shades of prison burritos I’ve seen on YT. Might be a cool idea for another episode

I have to say that I have herd you add hot honey to lots of things. I had never tried it before. I will now never not have hot honey around as it is amazing.
