Crispy honey garlic wings. SAM THE COOKING GUY 4K Greg: Soy sauce is salty as hell and for the same reason we add salt to ice to melt it by lowering the freezing point of the water, salt also raises the boiling point of water (Colligative properties)- meaning a very salty solution will have to get to a higher temp before its boiling, and so I imagine it boils more violently bc its at a higher temp. Not sure tho

It's because the bubbles get bigger the hotter the liquid gets. They are then able to creep up the sides of the pot using what's known as the capillary effect (a side effect of the water's surface tension, if you stick a thin straw in regular old water you'll see it crawl up the sides. There are old-timey fountains that use this to generate water flow with no power whatsoever. Smaller bubbles can't spread out their weight across enough of the pot's edge to climb up, but bigger bubbles can, thus boil-over as the liquid pulls itself over the lip of the pan. The sugar/salt/other dissolved stuff is the reason it makes a bigger mess though. Pure water, of course, would just evaporate.

Surface Tension. The compounds in soy sauce are more prone to creating sticky molecular chains, which gives rise to the viscous bubbles that don't like to easily burst, and as a result. boil-over. It's not just sugar. but sugars do contribute greatly. Depending on the soy sauce and the sugar content.

Don't be afraid to use a cast iron pan and deep fry on the grill. never mind the number of times he burned himself and the grease fire. that aside, the sauce is the star of the show and I'm sure it tastes good but it still seems a bit thin to me for a proper wing coating.

Nice commercial. But I use the classic twist 2 open butterfly with a double edge. A hundred blades cost 10 bucks. And last me at least 2 years. I don't think I have spent more than fifty bucks in the last five or six years on shaving

Not sure why he was surprised of the flammage when he dumped a ton of grease right on the open flame of his grill. I am also trying to figure out why there is a stall door in that bathroom? Maybe it s a Cali thing for the master bath?

I can't watch anymore if I have to watch someone shave - then supposed to be psyched to watch them cook. What's next - brushing your teeth? something else? I get you're trying to make a buck, but this isn't the way to do it.

Looks great. May I add something that works out great? If you love smoked wings, smoke them in a smoker or what ever device only to get a smoke flavor, not cook. Then the GP and corn starch. Killer. Great video Sam!

So, in the middle of cooking your chicken wings and starting a small fire, you decided to go shave? :D You are bizarrely hilarious Sam. The wings look good. Say, you should do something to commemorate Canada Day!
