Has anyone ever asked why chicken meat is dark and white and what the difference is besides the color, taste? One day my A&P professor explained it quickly: the primary mode of transportation and use of muscle determines the dark/light dark /white scenario. ie. a duck is all dark because it uses both it's wings and legs fairly evenly. flying and swimming, while a chicken or turkey's main method of transportation is running so breasts are white and thighs are dark. You likely already knew that but I always think of that day in class when you explain what you do with dark and white chicken meat in your videos. I have never done a lemon before. That kicks the whole healing remedy value up a notch. Very nice on a cold day with a little rain pouring down. Yum! The Ultimate comfort food. Picture it: I'm a little sick and it's raining outside, my husband is at work and I'm lounging in a warm soft pair of PJ's watching an old sappy movie and the next thing I know, Brad Pitt appears with this chicken soup he just whipped for me. Yes I do have a temperature and I am hallucinating but it's all real to me. Thank you, Sam. I am feeling better now.

almost everytime when you test the food when youre finished its smoking hot. can one really enjoy the flavors in that state. im thinking it could sit like 5min and cool down and then one can really enjoy. thats my opinion. nice recipe, gotta try it out. did a similar but on vegetable broth and egg noodles for the first time last week. turned out pretty good. this looks better: D

I thoroughly enjoy every video you make. He is a question, you just said don't buy soup in a can make it fresh. Yet you just put 4 cups of chicken broth from a Box with all the same salt and Preservatives that the can stuff uses?

Very quick and fast! Thanks. We add fresh lime juice to most homemade soups, it really has that extra tang that goes really well with the vegetables and chicken. Also, we top it with thin sliced green onion.
