Koh Kood ) is a paradise island in Thailand Day 8 (Koh Kood, also spelled Ko Kood or Koh Kut): Eastern Thailand Food and Travel Tour. Watch all 8 videos here: This is Day 8 of my Eastern Thailand food and travel series. Our final destination was the island of Koh Kood, and one of the best islands and most beautiful in Thailand. From the water to the beaches, to the jungle, youll be in awe. How to get to Koh Kood? We took the Boonsiri Ferry - 1, 000 THB (31. 75) per person round-trip. It takes about 1. 5 hours to get there. On this one day guide of food and travel in Koh Kood, we hired a pickup truck to drive us around (Private vehicle - 2, 000 THB (63. 50) whole day) to some of the famous sites, beaches, and restaurants. It was an amazing day. The Sunshine Resort Koh Kood at Ao Phrao Beach ) - This is where we stayed for the first few nights in Koh Kood. A very nice relaxing quiet place. Khao Saleun ) - It doesnt really have a name, but this small rice and curry restaurant serves great food in Koh Kood. Mushroom curry ) Chicken curry )

Good day Mark and family. Love watching your videos. You always make me miss this food and other foods around your travels. It's also nice to see you including more of your family in the videos. Sorry to ask, but my girlfriend and our little daughter ( they live in Pathum Thani), our daughter is coming on 2 years old. , but my question is do you have good recommendations for a family trip to Hua Hin? Anyway if you can great, if not I'll look some stuff up on the web. Have a great day Mike

We have been to Koh Kood three times in a row now. It never fails to impress. Pristine jungle, beautiful and quiet beaches, no mass tourism and hardly any cars. We do recommend the home made curries at Relax House. Their Massaman curry is amazing And do try the unsurpassed soft shell crab in garlic/black bean sauce at Shantaa Resort. Thanks for sharing these positive vibes with all of us, Mark. You are such an inspirational person Greetings from Amsterdam

Attention Haters, Mark loves bitterness in his food so with that being said I'm sure that he loves you bitter haters too LOL Sorry Mark but I just had to say that to the poor people that leave negative comments. I like how Sonnys says that you make a yummy face. Watch all you vlogs, one of my favorite. Thanks also to Ying for excellent camera work. You son is lucky boy to have all the love that you shower to him. Cheers, Eugene

Koh Kut my favorite island so far better than Koh Chang, WAY better than tourist trap Phuket is. Raised in Hawai'i I image Koh Kut to be like how Hawai'i was 150 years ago. I dived for those slipper lobsters here in Hawai'i. They are not as large as the Spiney Lobsters here but the slippers are much sweeter. So good Koh Kut forbids visitor vehicles. Mahalo Mark & Ying for another great video

Mark you comment on how dirty the beaches are. full of plastic and crap everywhere. but offer no solution to the problem. Plastic bottles, ear buds and straws are all contributing to the problem. Instead of pigging out and goring on animals brains and intestines maybe a little more thought on what you're doing to this planet. markwiens #markwiens Mark Wiens migrationology

I will never get to go there, but I feel like I just went. You couldn't wipe the smile off my face. What a wonderful WONDERFUL place to visit. You bring me to places that I have no time to even research their existence. Thank you, Mark for such a rich experiences, but this one was especially memorable. I just love this video SO MUCH God bless you and your family, Sir.

wonderful to see this part of Thailand and the different food in this region. I usually think of Thailsnf as big cities. I. d like to know more about those 'mushrooms'. Are they really mushrooms that grow from the spores of other mushrooms in the trees' decaying leaves or are they actually seedlings from the tree or something else that lives in the tree?
