I couldn t pack lunches for my husband every day. because he s was in the military. Always deployed. To show my love for him, I always help him pack his TA50 I would pack little love notes down in the fingers of his gloves, ammo pouches, tucked in rucksack, or in his underwear pack. I even had our children leaving him love notes Thinking of you, you re in our prayers. He always had fun looking for them. He passed away last year, while going through his things I found a little note, Merry Christmas, I love you when we fist got married and I made fideo for dinner, he said That s not how my made this! I said Well you re now married too me now, my mama put cheese in her fideo! I still make it with cheese for our grandson. This is his favorite dish.

We eat soup for lunch year round. I know that many reserve soup for winter but we don't. I make a big pot at least once a week, packed with veggies and usually chicken. It's so healthy and very affordable.
The Fideo Soup looks so good and easy too.
I love the bag, I'll look for them at Target.
Aren't bolillo rolls the best? So good!

I haven't had fideo in a long time.

Our H-E-B always stocks it.
My favorite soup and sandwich combo is tomato soup and grilled cheese.
But when I want to make soup when it's cold outside I make a huge pot of caldo de res and we eat it for several days.

I remember that yellow box from my childhood too. I loved this video but it makes me sad that you have to mention popping that noodle down because I know someone would have said something. I really appreciate all you do for us.

I love adding heated up tortillas, shred them, and toss into my fideo soup. Instant tortilla soup! Tastes soo good. Of course, a dash or two of hot sauce just makes it even better.
