soooo, the one after the pastry cream is basically empanada dough? Edit; my bad, i didnt watch the step all the way through but the start is the same as an empanada dough
edit2: Your so called fine motorics when it comes to drawing with a pencil is not that developed versus the coarse mechanics you have learned during your years of cooking and baking. Muscle memory perhaps?

My mom use to do it like that and the ladies that lived around her that would do it the proper way would get so upset. But in the end, hers were great. So do it the way you want to and just enjoy the yummies. I love seeing an eclair with a heart. What a nice way to share a day with someone.

Don't think for a second that I didn't notice that this is the exact same recipe as your cream puff swans, just in a different shape. But since that might just be my favorite of your many recipes (mostly thanks to the ridiculously delicious vanilla pastry cream) I'll give you a pass.

Your recipes for both literally would've helped me during my pate a choux practical exam if we were allowed to leave out steps. Choux was great. piping was okay and those wet fingers disguised many imperfections.
