Emma these cookies are definitely very very comforting, even more comforting than chewy chocolate chip cookies- -And totally agree with u that a comforting treat like a warm cookie must be simple to make, cuz u know, sometimes u just need to get the comfort out of baking if it's been a very tiring or difficult day and even when u don't have a lot of time to spare but wanna bake, that's the time u bake cookies-

Hey Emma I just want to let you that I tried the soft cookies you shared and it turns out amazing every time! I just want to thank you. I normally never cook let alone baking but I do enjoy watching baking more but when I do have the courage to bake, it never turn out 100% right. My baby sister whose pretty picky actually prefer the cookies I made then store bought thank you once again!

Emma please reply. Can we omit the vanilla essence and add some spices like cinnamon maybe. I don't have vanilla becoz of the lockdown. But all other things are there. Please please please --- reply. ----and also I made my own caramel. --
