Not me trying to think if it's anyone's birthday today. Lol aside from that this looks amazing! My mom was kinda inconsistent with her birthday cakes they either came already made from the store or she would by cake mix and put her spin on it. Even though I'm 18 and really like making my own cakes now you can't go wrong with store bought cake or somewhat homemade cake.

I use boxed cake mix all the time, mainly because I have a small kitchen. Funfetti cake I've never tried, but then it didn't exist when I was a kid. I do love Tres Leches cake; I became acquainted with it years ago as my husband is Latino/Spanish. I'll give this a try. Thanks Emma!

That's what we Americans use. But we also tweek the recipe. To make it taste even better like home a cross between both. Add extra 2 eggs, replace oil w it the butter x2 and water with milk you be blown away trust. But I wouldn't suggest tweaking when you doing tres leches

I like all the cake mixes specially if you re in a hurry and you really don t wanna go through the time and trouble of making sure you measure every ingredient correctly because if you don t, y all know that ain t gonna turn out right if you don t.

My birthday is literally tomorrow! I feel like you're making this for me haha BTW you should try Filipino mango float cake, it is made with mangoes obvs, condensed milk, whipped cream and graham crackers. so simple yet so good!
