lol - one of my jobs in college was working as a jello-shot girl at a popular bar in Boston. I’d make the jello shots earlier in the day and return that night to sell them. These are so much prettier than the little paper cups filled with the red vodka-laced jello that I sold. Tips were my only pay, but I made more working 3-4 hours Wednesday and Saturday nights than I did working full-time research jobs during the summer. The level of artistry and technique here is amazing. Good to see selling jello shots still pays.

I thought it was a bit silly at first, but if they’re sold at a decent price point, I actually think they’d do well in a consumer market too. I’d totally order a a few boxes for a party - saves the headache of making Jell-o shots on your own and they can actually be flavored/designed to match the decor. Fun idea!

What if you made a clear jello shot that had tonic water injected into it The quinine in tonic water glows under a black light, so I wonder if that glowing effect would be strong enough that you could have an invisible design that only appears under a black light. It's a pretty subtle glow, so it might not work out.

please mark anything you put mango juice in with an allergy warning. I have a rare mango allergy to the pulp and juice not skin, but nobody marks mango allergies despite it being an anaphylactic one. this is a request for others who have my allergy.

i wonder, is it possible to make jello’ shots using agar-agar instead of gelatin i’m vegetarian and allergic to a lot of animal based products, so i’m wondering if i could use agar to make jell-o shots at home since i can’t really enjoy normal jello shots

I found this highly interesting. We made jello shots once. We did beer bongs too. That was about 55 years ago! There were not nearly as pretty and multi- colored and the favors you do! Not found in bars, just in homes. Parties. BLOW ME OVER WITH A FEATHER.

Better go see how much they are up charging at 2 am and adjust fire accordingly! You can TRUST especially in NYC those things are going for an astronomical, unreasonable price to the final customer!

Wow, someone actually elevated Jell-o shots to artful confectionary, and they seem to be succeeding marvelously! They're beautiful, and probably taste great, too. Especially after 5 or 6 or them.

Why don't we have these in the UK We are a nation of jelly (British version of Jell-O) eaters! They would go down a storm. I think I need to look into this, we have a huge gap in the market.
