sigh. tell me about it. my hubby bass fishes in tourneys, so i haven't had a good bass fillet in quite awhile! i think there is nothing quite as nice as pan fried fish that was swimming only 30 minutes before! but he does bring boquets of trout and perch most times! and salmon or steelhead if i am really lucky!

Hey Hilah, Really like your blue and white dishes. I have a small set of 4 place settings and a couple of serving dishes. I will have to use them when I decide what recipe of yours to fix for company. BTW, that catfish looks yummy. We live in Louisiana, and LOVE Catfish!

There is nothing better than going fishing in the river (I live like 5 minutes from the Mississippi) and then eating it two hours later. SO FRESH. And omgosh, your little buns look like the ears of a fluffy lamb! That's your new nickname in my mind. Lamb. XD

Oh man, not sure there's a great remedy for that besides opening all the windows while you're cooking! Maybe also leaving some open boxes of baking soda around? Cornmeal battered fish smell does not seem to linger as long as a flour battered fish fry, though!

Love ya girl. I don't fry much don't need it on my hips but the fish was great but couldn't figure out why the batter didn't stay on the fish. You'd think watching that many videos I d got it. I am thinking maybe oil not hot enough even with it snapping.

Looks good! Makes me miss Texas, they don't do fish fries in Denver like they do in Texas! I was wondering if you might consider doing a fried chicken episode? I'm curious to see your take on that goodness!

This is the way I eat catfish too. The only way when you're in the South. I used to fish with my dad out behind our apartment and we'd eat them all the time. We caught crab too by tying chicken to a string. lol.

Haha! True. Bugs the sh-t out of me when people say they're vegetarians who also eat fish. :P But also, it took me many many years to learn to like fish. I definitely did NOT grow up eating it regularly.
