-hilahcooking With any luck, me and some friends are planning for a Vegas Trip later this year after the summer but before the holiday season. We went to Vegas a couple years ago and want to try our luck again. I haven't tried rio star grapefruits yet, but I got some friends coming through here from Florida. Different, yes, but. perhaps I need another look at grapefruits in general.

I am psyched! This is great! I don't like grapefruit. but, I've never had this sweet one you speak of. That just means I got to pick some up in Texas on route to Vegas. I live in Georgia, so it makes sense. Whoa! I like pie. However, I am curious to see how citrus pie works like this. Very interesting.

I made this pie and it was wonderful! Like heaven! I was a little skeptical about the grapefruit & milk combo, but it turned out creamy, citrusy, and delicious. My grapefruit wasn't quite as juicy as I wanted it to be, so I added some lemon juice. Everything turned out fantastic. Thank you, Hilah!

So awesome! Thanks for putting the picture up. It looks great! Supremes take a little practice, but they're pretty easy once you get the knack.
Have you tried the peach cobbler recipe yet? It's amazing and easy! And you can use pretty much any fruit instead of peaches, too. High Five! :)

I love Grapefruits! I think Indiana only imports them from Florida though, Texas' looks better XD
Aww ya should've taken a picture of the inside of the pie i wanted to see if it was jelly like or creamy like, or grainy or what, ill go look at your website: )

I heard supreme pronouced both way I think one is anglisized while the other is the french way of saying it. Could be mistaken. That just seems an odd combo. Can't try it because no one else would eat it and well it will go straight to my hips lol. :)

love grapefruit! i eat it in slices (like you would an orange, so great idea! it makes me think that i also could make it into pie like lemon (or lime) pie! i will have to try both ideas next time! thank you, hilah!

-captmack735 These rio star grapefruits are much sweeter than regular grapefruits. They still taste like grapefruit, though, so maybe try before you buy if you're really adverse to grapefruit.
