Ya'll i just talked to my teacher about how she heated it to different temperatures. and coconut oil is polymorphic. i. e. Its melting point changes once you heat it to different temperatures, So after adding coconut oil claire should have heated it to a temp below 270 when it turned out hard and to temp above 270 while incresing the amount of water added to the gelatin mixture to make up for evaporation losses. to make it harder. Actual mind fck Thank you for comming to pharmaceutical preparations 101

idk if this is true or proven, but when I ask people in my high school. The guys mostly say Yellow(Lemon) or Orange is their favorite, while mostly females say that either pink(Strawberry) or red(Cherry) are their favorite. Idk if its because of the color or not but I think that even if the yellow starburst was dyed pink instead, guys would like it more. and vice versa with the pink and red. but hey that's just my opinion.

As they said pull your fillings out I immediately thought of drumsticks. Not sure if they're in America but it's a classic in the UK. Basically that really hard and stretchy taffy on a lollipop stick. You'd look like an animal while trying to pull off a bite of it only to have a long string of weirdly tough taffy. It'd get stuck in your teeth and it was really hard to eat overall but ey, good workout for that perfect jawline

Are starbursts different in America? I never knew that you guys had different flavours to the starbursts in the UK - the flavours over here are lemon, lime, black current and strawberry. I get why you wouldn't have black current as the plant was illegal for a very long time in the USA as it's a vector for pine rust so the people aren't used to the flavour but what's wrong with lime that you swap it for apple?

Has the saturation always been this high in the gourmet makes series? The reds and the yellows especially. It's my second watch and it just hit me how the colours feel really blinding. Compared to the newer Ruffles episode, the saturation on reds is still too high, but the overall brightness is lower which makes it less headache inducing.

You need GUM in it too and when done wrap IMMEDIATELY The gum makes and keeps soft but firm like starburst. You EXPOSED to air and when sugar is EXPOSED it firms up almost in a half hour. Take out a real starburst and let sit. They turn into rocks. GUM IN MIXTURE AND WRAP IMMEDIATELY TRY AGAIN CHEF

Honestly I think I'm one of the only humans on the planet that enjoys yellow starburst. Then again I also enjoy black licorice and oatmeal raisin cookies. Perks of being the oldest of 7 kids. You start to enjoy the things that nobody does because they're the only things left

Not my favorite candy, but I have so many good memories. I lived in zaragoza spain, and every time I went to Madrid I buy one pack of this candy on the bus stop. Brings me teenager good times, first time traveling with friends, memories.

This reminds me of one time my mom and I made a decorated cake to look like a castle for my sisters birthday and we used starburst to make flags. I felt about the same way about starburst as Claire did at the end of this video when I was done.
