One time I was cooking with habanero, didnt use gloves, for and itch next to my mouth, scratched it, and the entire half of my face was burning. I even put my face into a bowl of milk. Washed my hands about 20 times. That night, I went to take out my contacts, and it was the worst decision of my life, but I guess it needed to be done. But then, my dumb ass kept the contacts instead of throwing them away, and next morning only brought more pain as I tried to put them back in. this was before I started learning how to cook
