I think now more than ever, we need the distraction of upping our self-care game. so long as we're home let's pamper. Thank you to everyone keeping our world running while the rest of us are fortunate enough to stay safe at home. Kim: Hey Tati, I appreciate you opening up about your anxiety. I have been really struggling with anxiety this last year and it recently reached a point where it was getting to an unmanageable point. I have been working on retraining my brain and wiring in healthy thoughts and breaking down those toxic thought patterns. I didnt realize that there is actually a science behind this. I was recommended a book by Dr. Caroline Leaf and she is a neuroscientist. She has a book called switch on your brain and it is really amazing. I dont know if you are religious, but she does combine her science background with her Christian beliefs, so it may not be for everyone but I really appreciate that aspect of it. Anywho, let me just say thanks again for sharing, it makes me feel more normal knowing others experience anxiety and that I'm not alone in this

Self care: 1) drawing in my art journal. I allow myself to be as crazy and as creative as I want in it without trying to be perfect. 2) I like using Essie nail strengthening polish in the color keen on sheen. It's such a pretty color3) I like to dance too I follow The Fitness Marshall dances and have so much fun. 4) I'm really enjoying lighting a candle and reading before bed. I buy candles from Frost Beard studios. They have candles made to be burned while reading specific books. I'm reading games of thrones right now and burning a game of thrones themed candle called winter keep. 5) I've been really enjoying my favorite perfume from clean reserve called skin. I like to go and sniff the bottle when I'm feeling stressed. I don't know why it makes me feel calm but it does.

This is my first Tati video ( I follow mariaagloriaa and she loves you so I thought why not check you out) I love that amethyst I'm also an Aquarius and have felt so drawn to everything purple lately. I was so drawn to your ring throughout the whole video I've just started a skin care routine and I find that so comforting. I look forward to it everyday. I also read a lot (I will check out that book) I love playing games on my tablet, which is where I've met 2 of my best friends. One in Scotland and the other in Australia That is how I'm pampering myself.

Tati, regarding panic attacks, I've had them from early '16 bc of trauma, and I can feel some of your symptoms while mine tend, or tended to be more than that, including sweating profusely, trembling for hours on end (sometimes up to 16 hours, sleeplessness and a loss of appetite bc of nausea, a sense I could faint at any moment, nausea, and some other things, and what has helped me is heavy physical gardening, Zelda: BOTW and watching your videos. So yes, I wish you safety and good mental health, and I want more videos, goshdarnit

I used to have frequent anxiety and panic attacks, but now very rarely, if at all. Both are psychological responses to outward stressors, whether real or imagined. It's worse when you let your mind run wild. Try to take steady deep breaths, while concentrating on the sound and rhythm of your breathing. Most important of all, repeat to yourself something along the lines of-- Anxiety and panic are not the truth of what I am, Love created me and I am it's reflection. Hope that helps: --.

Hi Tati, I used to love scrapbooking. I stopped making them like three years ago. In the meantime I met my husband, we got married and have my first baby, so as you can imagine I got looots of pictures. So now that we are at home I decided to start again with my scrapbook and Im so happy looking at all those pictures. I know God is in all this and he have a purpose. Thank you for your cool videos, Im in a marathon watching them while I scrapbook again.

My absolute favorite self-care song to listen to is I Just Wanna Shine by Fitz and the Tantrums. I listen to it every single morning when I wake up and I have it set as my alarm tone lol. It's an upbeat, fun song. The lyrics says today is gonna be my day which makes me what to tackle my day and have a good time while doing it. I listen to the song waaaaaaaaaay too much but it helps me so much in the mornings. Highly recommend

Thanks for the book recommendation. Ive recently had an experience that is teaching me how incredible the human body and brain actually are. This book seems as though it will fit right in with that. Self-care items I love: Nail polish of ANY kind. Markers, colored pencils, coloring books. Apple Music on shuffle.
