That really sucks that you had a bad reaction with the Sunday Riley ceo brightening serum. I have pretty normal skin and I absolutely love it I have seen such amazing results since I began using it last year. Every time I use it I wake up and my skin looks so plump and awakened. It must just not agree with super sensitive or acne prone skin types I guess.

I like these videos. I think its fair to explain what products you didn't like and why. It's the same as giving products reviews, they are definitely helpful. If a product is bad but nobody can ever review it unless it is a positive review, every product would have a 5 star rating lol. It isn't like you're being mean, you explain very nicely.

Not trying to shade anyone but I'm just curious if a lot of the people who message you about not liking these videos are younger? I could imagine you having a lot of pre-teens in your demographic and wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them don't yet have the maturity to see these videos as informative. Probably just think you're being negative.

I love videos like this, because it shows how products work for different people. Just like you said: we are all different and some like products and some don't. And if there is something wrong or not working with a product, I love to hear it, so when I consider buying it I can ask myself if I still want to spend money on it.

For myself, I find it educational not petty. I am just getting back into a more glam look and boy things have changed So when you explain what works and doesn't work for you, it educates me on what to look for. because I am a sucker for packaging Also, you do not present it as negative but informative which is a valued quality.

I actually really like this type of video You give great constructive criticism that I think brands can take and use to better their product for us. I like hearing about WHY a product didnt work, especially because it may be a reason said product didnt work for me, and then I feel like Im not the only one.

Please don't stop these videos You're one of the few Youtubers that still give out the truth and I love that I can trust your opinion. Makeup is so expensive and I don't want to go buy products that I can't afford in the first place and then them be terrible, you've saved me from that countless times
