With the conference room now being moved to the coffee table, getting ready for work, or rather Zoom, can be a bit challenging. Is a full face of makeup too much? Does not wearing any say I don-t care? If I-m too dressed up is that weird? If I-m in sweats is that offensive? And how the heck do I fix this bed head? We-re all thinking the same thing, which is why I-ve come up with a bunch of solutions for you guys! Here, you can find all the tips and tricks you need to look great on your next video call

Thank you for the video, Emily!
I experienced a huge benefit from using a teleprompter, and helped me a ton to level up my video quality, especially talking heads. I present my videos using the PPT-Mirror tool method to mirror-flip my existing slides and display them in TTL (through the lens) in teleprompter is a definitive guide to master eye contact with clients because I don't have to read word for word as I always have my whole concept in front of camera, I use bullet points structure to avoid over-scripting myself out completely so that my conversation remain on target... it is a great option that assisted me in delivering professional narration since.

Any uncharismatic, awkward, plain-faced people try any of Emily's tricks? Did people react more positively or not? Her clothes/hair/makeup are very plain and basic most of the time, and are unnoticeable on less pretty/charismatic people. i need to wear bright conversation/statement pieces for people to even begin to notice, and even then, they barely do. She is already extremely pretty & charismatic with the most ordinary, cheap, boring clothes, no makeup, and plain hair.

Excellent tips! What I liked the most about it, was the presentation itself. Emily is always lively, exciting, bright, and cheerful! Oh, well of course she's beautiful -
Seriously, she could talk about watching paint dry and it would be exciting! Love it!

Lots of great tips. Agreed - turning off all notifications is good etiquette as the notification noises from multiple participants can be distracting to the meeting host. This is usually overlooked by many during meetings - virtually or otherwise. Thanks!

Video calls distort your face. I was hoping to hear there's a fix for that or a filter.
The same tools go for photos. I can't tell you how horrible or downright scary some people look in their profile pics. Especially men.

Great tips! I know you-re addressing multiple video communication scenarios, however, I personally wouldn-t expect to be taken seriously sporting that much cleavage for a business call! - Oy vey!

Loved this but I wondered if you would please consider speaking slower or at least put a second in between your edits because it's hard to keep up and really absorb what you are saying.
