I feel like the only products I still use years down the road are the Bobby pins you recommended (bought them years ago and still using the same pack) and bumbum cream (sol. I have curly hair and once it gets used to a routine it stops working so all the other hair products just don't work.
Random what's your take on wood combs I have used one for 0robably 5 years now and it's amazing but hard to clean and I wonder if it's diffrent for straight hair then curly hair.
Also can't wait for your holiday hairstyles! Please do some that can be done on short/medium hair too!

For your hair dryer, it might just need to be cleaned out. Mine started with that burning smell and I was so sad, b/c it's almost older than I am and I love it. But my husband was like no don't toss it, let me see it, and he took it apart and cleaned out (I did keep the filter at the end clean, but I guess dust still got in, and now it's drying like it's new again! At the very least, it's neat seeing the inside lol.

I've recently started using a boar bristle bush with my wet to dry straightener - I go through first with a wet brush, then use the boar brush to get tension and smoothing for the straightener. Same for blow drying. It's the first time I've found a way to use them that works for me, and I've had some for YEARS!

I bought a Kristen Ess curlong iron off your recommendation 10 years ago (or however many years ago it was, and still use it almost daily. It’s the 2 inch one that I’ve been using to fake a blow out, so even when my hair is long it does a good job at fitting it all on. One of my favorite recommendations ever and it’s held up so well!

LOVE this video. You seem so in your element also I’m going to shoutout the nume octowand set because I got that from your videos and still use it today! I am looking to replace it at some point though because the cord got messed up (my fault, not the iron’s) so maybe I’ll check out T3 thanks for the great video!

Absolutely ended up despising my Dyson dryer, and I think the main thing was that the concentrator nozzle you get with the commercial (non-hairdresser one) is the biggest problem. So I sold mine, and ended up getting a Parlux which works just as well and has the same professional attachments that hairdressers get

4: 26 My holy grail product! I’m an actor and I literally won’t use anything else, especially when I’m on stage. They’ll keep your hairstyle locked in for the whole performance. Plus, the mini ones are great for fixing little bits that stick out of braided styles.

I think I got the Dyson because any Kristin Ess products weren't available easily here, and I gotta say for someone who mostly lets her heir air dry, it's been in good use, especially after I also started experimenting with styling my hair towards curly!

8 or 9 years ago, i got myself those bobby pins thanks to your recommendation, not knowing that my mom had also bought me a pack for the same reason. Good thing i love them as much as you knew i would, because i’m still working through those 600 pins!

the wet brush I used was apparently not compatible with my hair structure. a year of detangling and my hair ripped off the little bristle caps of pretty much all of them.
(I prefer the tangle teezer)

For me it was the Schwarzkopf 10 in 1 leave in treatment that came in a white bottle I bought it at your recommendation and to this day I haven’t found anything to replace it to this day

Every boat bristle brush I have used has made my hair so staticky. : ( My hair is fine but super thick so I also couldn't fine one that would actually get down to my scalp.
