Im from Massachusetts and I moved to California. I loved California. I felt very at home and the best Ive ever felt in my life. I felt heard, powerful, seen, and loved. I went to visit Massachusetts and saw my old friend with whom I had a connection with. He never wanted to date, but I felt as if weve always had a strong and loving connection. I told him I loved him before I flew back home to Cali.
While in Cali, I felt like I should be back in Mass with him. Called him up. He agreed to a relationship if I moved back to him, so I did. Now its been 7 months back in Mass. I dont have a solid dance community or friend group here like I did in Cali. I basically moved back for this man who I love very dearly. He feels like a soul mate. We love the same music and we get along great. He doesnt want to move to Cali because hes pretty rooted in Mass. I would feel so horrible leaving him, but besides him nothing makes me happy here. Deep down I feel I have to move back, but my mind is also thinking are you just experiencing FOBO? (fear of a better option. I dont want to make a selfish decision. Him being in my life is something Ill cherish forever, and I always want a connection with him. Im really stuck.
